HP scoreboard bg and colour aligning

so, im very new to skinning and chose a difficult project.

i am trying to align my HP background and colour but i dont know where to start. where do i move things? im using photoshop for the designing. is it possible to move where the healthbar colour is located?

If you aren't working off of a template then the only way is through trial and error, changing the position of the color within the photoshop file until it lines up how you like it.

As for moving where the color is located, if I'm reading correctly then you should just be able to add empty space around the color to change its location, if that answers your question.

From the skinning wiki:

  1. Positioning varies:
  2. If a marker is used, positioned at (12,12).
  3. Otherwise, positioned at (5,16)
You just need to add margins in the top left of the scorebar-colour.png, which are equal to the number is parenthesis.
These values represent the distances for the SD assets, so you need to double the values for @2x.
