I used to only play all sorts of flow aim, alt, and tech maps on NM ranging from 4 - 5*. Examples are like these

As the consequences, I can't play anything exceed 170 bpm and I tend to misaim a lot, I can have 98% acc with 200x/1000x combo for example
It just until recently (two months ago) until today, I started branching out into typical jumps, >200 bpm, and mods. I have made significant progress, especially in DT where I used to really really hate them but I kinda okay with it
I guess it just to show one trick on niche skills do exist and the consequence are equally bad, if not worse than other.
