i want to sort beatmaps into categories like aim, streaming, high approach rate (also how do i learn that?), etc.
right-click a song
select collections
Name a collection in the top box like "4* Aim", etc.
select "+" to add the specific map, +Set to add the whole mapset (same for "-")
rinse and repeat.
As for what you should have? Well, whatever you want to have. What I currently have are:
-A singular playlist collection if I ever wanted to let Osu play music for me in the background.
-"Temp" collections for filler maps whenever I don't want to do the primary maps below
-Maps sorted by their SS core, separated into HRHDDT (1*), HRHD (2*) and NM (3*), with possible plans to include hybrids and 4*. 'Tis a holdover from when I was trying to speedrun getting into the scores leaderboard, tho.
-Maps to fix from mod combos (aka removing SO/NF or fixing non-SS's)
-score snipes (though it's back from 2021/22, so very outdated and in the process of being removed)
-mod combo potential maps
-maps sorted by pp
-Challenge themes
Plus the odd extra collection for stuff I thought I'd have but don't want or I just haven't cleared out. If you just want to put maps into specific kinds, or even separate by percentages so you know what to work on (for the previous example, 4* Aim 95% non-FC, 96% Non-FC, 96% FC, etc.). It's really what you want to make of it.
