I always use singletap to play osu;When I play alt map,I always miss the flow notes and I feel my left hand hasn't a right rhythm.When I play tech map,I think it's so hard to read the quick slider.😭😭😭

Should I practise it from some easy alt/tech map?😞😞😞

Practice with low-speed/low bpm bursts (3 or 5-note) and practice the intentionality of alternating your fingers. You want to be consciously attempting to play them zxz/xzx whenever possible.

As/once that becomes muscle memory, then start practicing with faster bursts/longer bursts or streams, as well as playing full songs at a low SR while trying to do the same kind of intentionality in alternating.

You need to build up your conscious control so that it can turn into instinctive play on it's own. Otherwise you'll be trying to play it the way you're used to and either trip over yourself or fingerlock.

(I also don't really get what NM3/4 means. Is that SR or a reference to tourneys? If it's the latter just say 3 star or 3*)

Practicing those kinds of maps from easier ones is probably the way to go. If alternating is hard, maybe try alternating on maps you can already single tap first.

It's tournament-related, they're different types of maps. NM means nomod, most tournaments have 5 or 6 different nomod slots for each stage.

NM3 = alt
NM4 = tech

Here is a video explanation for each slot (the pinned comment has each written down): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbHlJnwPw-4&ab_channel=honmi

Utilise osucollector. Find different alt/nm3 collections and tech/nm4 collections and honestly any tournament skill you want to practice.

NM3 / ALT
NM4 / TECH
