I used to play with 120 area but due to pain because of the wrist movement in order to hit corner i decided to switch to a low area (70 aproximatevly still trying a bit in this range)
It feels better but the issue is that i cant use my hold grip anymore due to a lack of control. I saw a lot of good players use a lateral quadrupod (I think its the name at least) but my brain wont process how to hold it lol. So i wonder if you can share some grips with a good control in order for me to try them out

this is what I do as a kind of hybrid hover player on an 87mm width area.

I've never had any issues with pain or strain in aiming hand, though that does depend on your specific anatomy and conditioning.

basically a dynamic quadrupod pencil grip (had to google pencil grips) with the pen held in a more vertical position and index/thumb further up the pen for better leverage and control (changes were subconscious as I improved, originally was just my normal pen grip). If you do any arm aiming this probably wont be the best grip, and it may take some practice to coordinate your fingers and wrist to make long straight lines cross screen.

However, for a lot of people dynamic quadrupod is stressful, so you might not find it works for your hand, especially if you grip the pen harder when the game gets difficult.

Main reason I do this instead of large area arm aiming is so I don't have to worry about my tablet sliding around at all. I still tried to maximize area while staying comfortable with an anchored arm. Found that really small areas are just too unstable and not worth the extra speed.

something for you to try
Could give your regular old pencil grip a go for a while like I did, simply chasing after comfort over quick improvement, your natural writing grip is likely to be close to what your ideal pen grip should be, and you can make adjustments to better fit the game.

You could also go the other direction and try full area arm aim out.

Ty i will try yours to see if it fits me !
And for my natural pen grip well the thing is... IT HURTS SO BAD, back when i was to school i pratically couldnt wright cuz it just made a huge pain in my hand (like i take my pen and 5 min after its done for an hour i coundt use my hand) so i think i just need to find another grip even for my writting wich i never found in all of my school lofe

thats fair.

also I tried out the other 3 "mature" pencil grips. for lateral quadrupod even just holding a pen there for a few seconds I can feel my hand starting to cramp lol. lateral tripod isnt painful, but felt restrictive. dynamic tripod is ok and I can write like that, just can't have that extra leverage I get from having the index and thumb up higher for circle game.

thinking back on it in school I often switched between the two dynamic styles when writing depending the shape of the writing utensil and how bad my writer's callous had gotten.
