Registration
Participants must register via the NUEL website. You must create an account and verify your university email (if necessary), then add your osu! username in the "IGNs" section within their profile settings.
Participants must also join the Discord server.
Format
- 1v1
- 3 tiers - Rank range will be determined at the end of registration to ensure an even number of participants per division.
- Every tier functions as an independent tournament, featuring distinct map pools, prizes, and brackets.
- Main Stage: Swiss (Number of rounds dependent on signups, expect 4-5 rounds)
- Playoffs: Single Elimination with the top 4/8* (pending signups) players in each bracket seeded by their finishing position.
Match Procedure
- We cannot guarantee that every match during swiss rounds will have a referee, in which case you will be required to self-ref.
- For self-reffing, please refer to the guide made by flubb for the previous iteration of NUOT here.
- ScoreV2, Team VS.
- All maps are played with NF.
- Warmups are allowed if both players agree.
- UKCC Roll System.
- Players alternate bans - the number of bans that each player gets depends on the mappool and can be found on the spreadsheet.
- Players alternate picking maps until one player wins or both players reach match point.
- If both players reach match point, the tiebreaker is played.
- Tiebreaker is free-mod but only NF is mandatory.
- If a player disconnects or experiences technical difficulties, the referee will abort the map, provided it has been less than 30 seconds from the start time.
- If a player disconnects but finishes the map, they can take a screenshot and send it to the referee.
