The only reason that I can guess at that the brag thread was even made was essentially because I pointed out it's too out of the way to find stuff people might want to brag about (in comparison to their top plays) in their profiles, such as FL or HRHD plays that would never show up in your top plays and only briefly in the recent area. It's not like you can't put them there, either, but at least for me I find it more sensible to have a dedicated thread for each individual to put their brags/accomplishments because that's what I know on Scorehero.
The bragging thread is essentially a compromise that I think has generally worked. Y'all tend to get a bit more chatty in there than I think is good (mostly because you in particular feel the need to reply to everything for some reason), but it's served its purpose.
(I still think a dedicated sub-forum for players to put their accomplishments/brags and for others to view on their own time is a good idea, but at the same time I'm aware the community here is more about bancho chat, reddit, profiles, DMs and now Discord over forum posts, so.)
