What was your oldest interaction with an osu player?

The next day after making my osu account, I played with some players in multi and the players were so nice in general!!... even though the maps were kind of weird sometimes...

Then I received a DM from AnHReakz who told me how my first journey on osu was! They talked to me in german because they thought I spoke german, and as soon as I spoke to them in English, they've adapted their language to talk to me LOL

They gave me a useful tip on how to improve btw :D

Idk. WOuld've been mid-late 2021 as that's when I first visited the forums.

Unless I chatted with someone privately back in 2016? I don't remember.

My oldest interaction with an osu! player was outside of osu! with TheGraceFog.
He inspired me to play the game <3

My first interaction with the osu community as a whole was probably in the osu swiss community discord server in February 2022. I still talk with them lol

The oldest osu player whom I talked through discord dm was probably J ]

Fun fact: my oldest ever osu dm was BanchoBot, because I didn’t have any friends, nor did i know how. 😭😭

This was a lot easier to check back when you could sign on to old.ppy.sh, but now all my old DMs are lost to time

About a month after I started playing osu when I first hit 6 digit Kobba started spectating me while I was playing this map. I remember them DMing me that it was good that I was playing a map with both jumps and streams. I asked them why he was spectating me and iirc they said something along the lines of wanting someone to spectate while doing something else? I remembered thinking it was kinda weird because they were probably in around the same timezone as me and it was 10AM on a weekday. The DMs have been lost to the sands of time sadly. Also why is this gameplay and rankings lol

after a few months, i discovered the osu forums because of kartofle again

i remember joining a team for making gds (somehow i got accepted despite being an absolute noob at mapping) in 2017 and was asked to make a taiko gd. won’t say the name of the person due to their controversial shit that happened after that interaction
