Hi, I am quite new to osu! :3
I am currently playing at a difficulty level of 4-5 star, so normal/hard maps

I'd like to know how you improved your osu!-skills and when you finally got to Insane beatmaps

.
Did it take a lot of practice? What were your main problems?
I am looking forward to your feedback, thanks ^_^

lol. ooooooh boy. It took me like 2-3k plays to play insanes consistently, but everyone progresses at their own rate.

Keep playing , some people are just faster at learning than others. That is all I'm doing

example:

I have played for almost a month now and I HAVE PLAYED EVERYDAY and can barely do many hard's
My friend arkamii has played for about 2 weeks now and hardly plays but is probably at an equal skill level as
me or better with 1/4 of my playcount. It's just individual learning speed.

I went slowly, did HR/DT (or just one of them) on every normal song to get used to higher AR
After that, was just constant playing, practice maps worked for me.

Dont give up easily, keep at it. Just make sure you play abit everyday and you will improve.

Take a week or two break from the game. Do this every now and then; it helps. You're probably stressing or building bad habits and going on a hiatus should help remedy it.
