I've watched the live action version of One Piece and it wasn't even that bad. Netflix has done everything to make it as similar as the anime, but there are still people to hate it for some reason...

The One Piece live-action is a special case, it had direct input from the creator and the crew behind it didn't treat it like a major cash cow. A lot of other ones just didn't and were mainly cash cows which led to low quality and a good 98% of anime fans hating them
