There's countless times I feel aiming uncessarily too quick for small jumps, often resulting in shitmiss due to overaiming and misaim. Besides stepping down the star rating and undo my less than ideal habit, what else you can suggest for me doing?
You don't improveFxjlk wrote:
What's wrong with playing a lower star rating?

You don't improve if you play lower stars maps that you can already play perfectly*Fxjlk wrote:

Any proof of that?

It's that in fact, you are not playing those low star maps perfectly.Anaxii wrote:

It's a way to improve yeah, although I don't tend isolate a specific skillset into a map. I always play some hard maps with almost every type of skillsets so I can be versatile. If I want to improve in general, I just push my limits until I see some resultsAtara wrote:

It seems that it's the classic, "How can I improve at X skillset without actually doing that thing?"Secret to osu! improvementUnderstand how to isolate the skillset you are trying to get better at, then do it with a map containing the least amount of other distracting elements (usually lower star rating) and do it for longer than you would consider for it to be ridiculous that you haven't gotten better. Rinse & repeat
