FL is actually INSANELY strong right now on hard maps, we're just waiting for the day that people realize.

I also believe that it would be cool to have different weightings on different combinations of mods (might even see less people playing the generic dt/hd and maybe try out some cool stuff).
Of course all of this is just theory-crafting from one of the most casual players in osu! and the flashlight mod might be a bit hack-seducing - and you'd have to make flashlight not count as much at some point in a song, because that would simply be too op- but as I said I'd really love me some fl plays (maybe even on a really long map) in the osu scoreboards and some cool replays to watch!
