every time i set a shitty goal and forget about it in 1 hour...

I heard that it's good to set goals in this game because you are constantly challenging yourself.
but is it a 'good' goal to try set a 150pp play???? or its will affect me bc its a poor mental?
damn its hard to be confident holy

Nah having pp goals isn't bad, it is something I set for myself, its just bad if that said pp goal is something like "I will get a 500pp play" when you haven't even gotten past like 200. If you keep it realistic it will be good for you. Same goes for any other goal for the game. Whether its "I want to get this said FC on this map," or "I want to reach this specific rank area," etc. as long as it is kept reasonable its pretty healthy

Some may do better with goals, some might fine without it

If pp is your concern, it's kinda easy to forget and satisfy if you already capabilities to farm, but say if you want to do xx% accuracy of this challenging map that test your speed/aim/reading/consistency/precision/etc, then it's better imo

Write your goals on a paper or something

If it's the best solution for you then okay lol

Find cool maps you want to FC then set the goal to Pass/FC/SS them before a certain date (the deadline part is optional, but I find its better to have one than to not - even if you don't reach it). Any goal can be a good goal if it motivates you and is specific enough, just make sure you figure out how to reach it.

One reason why it's good to set goals is because you can get into a rut playing the same types / difficulty of maps without making much progress or not focusing on improving scores (which isn't bad if you're having fun), having a goal gives you a direction and a way to assess if the maps you're playing are getting you closer to that goal or not.

You could look into things like SMART goal setting if you wanted a more technical answer.
