Anyone else play better with no hitsounds?

Ive turned off hitsounds recently and ive seen a huge improvement in my gameplay.
Anyone else relate or am i just weird?

If turning off hitsounds makes the game better for you, chances are you have a poorly calibrated universal offset or generally a high latency for audio response.

It could be that your UO is fine and you're just weird though.

If you have any latency issues in windows 11 or 10, disable audio enhancement in sound settings.

Am a bass abuser so I have it really high

If it makes you better at the game then do it. I personally disagree because I will struggle more with accuracy in general

At 18 hours it doesn't matter what you do, you'll improve.
Soon you'll hit a point where you need hitsounds, so I suggest using them.

It's the exact opposite for me, I'm playing worse with less than 40% hitsound
