Do hitting circles precisely (close to the centre) matters?

When it's comes to jumps, I just sort of aim without much thought unless I repeatedly miss on particular pattern. So I'm wondering, is precision matters in general play?

While Anaxii is generally correct, I would highly recommend that you incorporate better aim into your play at some point. A FC/SS is a FC/SS if the game registers you as hitting the note, but you can improve your chances and ability significantly if you aren't constantly flying by the seat of your pants in this regard.

Plus, if you ever have to/want to play high CS maps/HR you'll be better prepared because there's less adjustment you'll have to make if you're always aiming at the center anyways.

There is nothing wrong with over precise aiming or tapping notes extra accurate, especially if the song is easy for you.

Its practice for when songs are harder as voide said and it will help make high accuracy and FCs more common for you

it matters, you will miss 'randomly' more often if you hit the sides, because it's a shorter distance to miss from there.

You just need to focus more where you're aiming at and you will be precise no matter what, as simple as that

I see. Thanks for the feedback! I guess I have to work on it because I'm inferior CS above 5 and HR
