- This is a 1v1, open rank, international osu! standard tournament.
- Matches will be played head-to-head on Scorev2.
- The NoFail mod will be enabled on all maps.
- All players must join the discord server; otherwise, your registration is void.
- The tournament will have a qualifier stage first; then, the top 16 players move onto a double elimination bracket stage. More information on the qualifier stage below.
- There will be a bracket reset in the Grand Finals if necessary.
- Matches in RO16 and QF are Best of 11.
- Matches in SF, F, and GF are Best of 13.
- Each player gets 2 bans per match.
- The bracket stage will follow traditional seeding as follows: #1 vs. #16, #2 vs. #15, etc.
- Match schedules and mappools will be released on the Sunday before those matches are played at 23:59 UTC.
- All times are in UTC. Find your own time zone here. Alternatively, the current time in UTC is displayed on the main spreadsheet.
- Referees, Mappool Selectors, Playtesters, and Admins are NOT allowed to play in the tournament. However, commentators and streamers ARE allowed to play.
- Reschedules must be made before Thursday at 23:59UTC. Reschedules submitted after this time window are not likely to be accepted except in extreme cases (e.g. medical issues, sudden emergencies, etc.).
- A referee will make the lobby at least 5 minutes before the match and ping the players in the discord server about their match. Players should be online to receive their invites.
- No warmup maps are allowed in the lobby.
- Players will !roll to determine pick and ban order. The winner of the roll chooses either the pick order or the ban order, and the loser chooses the remaining order.
- For example, if P1 wins the roll and chooses to ban second, P2 can choose to either pick first or second.
- If a player is not in the lobby by 5 minutes after the scheduled match start time, they lose all their bans.
- If a player is not in the lobby by 10 minutes after the scheduled match start time, they forfeit the match.
- Banned maps are effectively removed from the mappool for that match and cannot be picked by either player.
- There are no restrictions on picks and bans.
- Each player has 120 seconds to pick/ban a map. After a player picks a map, both players have 120 seconds to ready up for the map.
- If a player runs out the pick timer on first pick, the first 2 map picks will be given to the opposing player.
- If a player runs out the pick timer on any other pick, their pick is ceded to the opposing player.
- If a player runs out the ban timer, that ban is skipped.
- If a player runs out the ready timer, the ref will give an additional 30 second grace period to be ready once per match.
- Further instances of the player not being ready on time will result in the referee starting the map regardless once the ready timer runs out.
- NoFail is allowed on the tiebreaker, along with HD, HR, FL, and EZ (1.8x multiplier). Players are not required to take any mods on the tiebreaker.
- If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds or first quarter of a map, whichever is shorter, the map will be aborted by the referee and replayed.
- If a player disconnects mid-game, their score will not be counted unless adequate proof of said score is provided. The following are considered as acceptable proof:
- Player point-of-view live stream snippets (commonly referred to as "clips" or "VODs"). The entirety of the play, along with the results screen must be clearly visible along with the affected player's score.
- Replay files of the play, taken directly from the "Local scores" tab on the affected player's client (the timestamps must exactly match the time at which the game took place, as seen on the multiplayer lobby link).
- Screenshots from other players taken directly in-game that show the affected player's score.
- Screenshots from the results screen must clearly show the affected player's score. This is the preferred method.
- Screenshots taken in-game at the time of disconnection may be accepted. Note that this method does not provide a one-to-one representation of that player's score. Using this method is not encouraged and it may be denied at the referee's discretion if the information provided is not sufficient to identify the player/score.
- All screenshots MUST be taken using the game itself (using Shift + F12), that is, they must be hosted on the https://osu.ppy.sh/ domain. Any other form of screenshot will be denied.
- Player scores may be derived from the official stream as a last resort, in cases where the match is streamed.
- There will be qualifier lobbies open throughout the qualification weekend; players can sign up for whichever lobby fits their schedule.
- Each lobby can hold up to 16 players.
- Each lobby will have 1 assigned referee.
- The lobby will play through the entire map pool once in order, and your total score after every map will be recorded.
- Players are not directly competing with the other players in their lobby.
- Players will be given points based on their performance on each qualifier map with the following formula:
- Players' points on each map are added up to produce a total point score.
- The players with the 16 highest total point scores will advance to the RO16.
- All players will play on the same mappool each week.
- Mappool format will be as follows:
- Quals: 4 No Mod/3 Hidden/3 Hard Rock/3 Double Time.
- RO16/QF/SF: 6 No Mod/3 Hidden/3 Hard Rock/3 Double Time/1 Tiebreaker.
- F/GF: 6 No Mod/4 Hidden/4 Hard Rock/4 Double Time/1 Tiebreaker.
