As some of you may already know, Nintendo wasn't doing so well selling the 3DS and Wii U. Now this comes up... Thoughts?

Just a note: I know this is only a rumor at the moment.

That being said the 3DS is doing fantastic and doesn't need to be tampered with as for the Wii U Nintendo has a million options open. I hope that they don't go the mobile route and the porting to other console route. With one exception, either a new IP is made specifically for other consoles. I could get behind a Nintendo released game on another console if it wasn't one of Nintendo's long standing franchises.

Actually, the 3DS is selling a lot like jj said.
I don't think a next console from Nintendo will pop up at least in the next two years, even if the Wii U sales are going bad, they won't give up so easily like that.
