Mmm... I think it's useless. You could right the name you played with in a text file.

It might actually work well with the filter drop-down menu if that could be implemented. (Maybe like the latest 50-100 interactions so the list doesn't get crazy big)

Maybe support the display of Multiplayer History in your profile thread?
Reminds me of how in league of Legends, you can see who you have recently played with since you log in and you can see their profiles.
Might be usefull in some situations not like it's really needed though o.o

I totally agree. Sometimes just playing, I can't remember a user name and Friends won't remember either. This could be very useful.
