I was testing (offline) using a controller with the gyro/motion controls mapped to mouse movement, and the back buttons mapped to clicks (not sure what they're called, but L1/R1 on a PS controller), and thought it was a pretty fun/interesting way to play. Is that playstyle legal? As in, if I play online with it will I get banned/be considered cheating? I looked for a little bit and it doesn't look like anyone's tried it (or at least said anything about it) so I wasn't sure. Not that I'd be able to do anything particularly impressive with it, I can barely clear 3*s that way rn, but it'd be fun to see how good I can get with it lol

A setting in osu! offers support for wiimotes, I'm certain you're allowed to play with a controller using gyro controls.

yeah, its changeable! i set up my controller by opening osu through steam, and steam's settings can change the gyro sensitivity between 1% and 3000% (idk what you would need that high sensitivity for but it's an option lol), i believe it was somewhere between 100% and 120% when i recorded the video__scripting wrote:
