Not very sure, I believe I can hit and fc them but replaying is kinda boring and demotivating for me, especially when I shitmiss the easiest part. Playing a map once and then switching is more of my thing but then I get only As and Bs.

retrying maps can eventually get you the score you want (as long as it's possible for you) but if you're more used to just moving on that's good too cause that also helps improve sightreading

In osu I've learned a good rule of thumb is just do what is fun until it isn't fun anymore and then do something else. If you're having fun just doing clears right now, then just do clears. If it were to start holding you back on improving and you got frustrated, that's when you'd switch things up. If you want to get less A and B ranks and more top plays, just play some easier stuff too, like hypers and light insanes, because high acc FCs are what give the most PP and knowing how to play the easier maps will help you on the hard stuff. No need to stop playing the hard stuff, though. Tbh I think me having a pretty low ranked to total score ratio contributes to me being more motivated to play, so I'm biased but if that's your preferred way to play I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

edit: I've heard a lot from new players things like "but three star maps are so boring!!" so I made these collections a while ago if you want some new maps n-n

3* maps would only be boring if you've never taken the time to actually play them and/or have only ever watched high-level play and/or only play 4*+ for...some reason as a newbie.

Are they the most difficult maps out there? No, I don't claim that (for the most part). But I personally just feel like people don't really give them a fair shake in that regard.

As for OP, Happy Satoko had a pretty good line. If you think replaying for better scores will be fun/helpful, do that. If you think it won't, don't. I would argue it almost objectively is better depending on the map or map type, but that doesn't mean it will always do the individual any good (i.e. you're already good at that particular kind of map).
