i'm a returning player, anyone got any tips for timing?

...Timing what? Maps? This is the wrong forum.

Playing? Just start easy and work on gaining/re-gaining your rhythm sense. EDIT: Definitly gaining. Start with 1* maps, practice your rhythm sense to follow the map and reading approach circles. Go for at least 95% accuracy in a certain SR range (probly 1.4-1.7* for you), then increment by up to .5* depending on how easy or hard it is for you.

Dont play with autopilot, just play some maps you will derust

Just play in general I feel like. Lot of repetition. Play maps you find fun and also challenge yourself a bit, so things aren't super easy all the time? that's what i do at least
