Got curious on this so thought I would ask what everyone thinks of the playstyle
ys_is9
click x is cool but really only good for speed and weird control maps
and tap x is really good for aim
i would never play any of these playstyles myself though

A playstyle is a playstyle I guess. As long as it's comfortable for you, there's no problem with it!

I hugely respect clickx and tapx players, especially the ones that fully alternate. It's also pretty cool that tapx styles are named after the players that used them first, I'll link a good reddit post describing it: https://www.reddit.com/r/osugame/comments/agjqjc/tapx_beginner_guide_whats_tapx_different_variants/

Both are hard playstyles unless you start playing them as soon as you start playing the game. Oxycodone was a little before my time, but his speed and the scores he set were so far ahead of his time it was/is crazy

yeah I didn't learn about the names of the "forefathers" of tapx until I joined the discord and dug up the profiles for a few of them (lesjuh and Azuki)

and tbh tapx isn't something that difficult to play in of itself, its mostly removing the keys only element that most regular tablet or mouse players find difficult imo

oxycodone is a legendary player thats for sure, especially for his playstyle (Lesjuh)
