anyone lost the ability to single tap fast?

back when i used to play a year ago i could single tap 240 easily

i could single tap 130-140 bpm streams in sites where they test your speed out, although with bad accuracy.

now i get 100s from being late if i singletap 210 for more than like 5 notes straight.

sometimes i single tap maps and its weird to see me end up getting note locked on maps that ppl with less than half my pp fc. I can alt 240 jumps now just have to gain some finger control to do 1/4 patterns with either finger and im back to finally gaining pp.

I can do upto like 158bpm streams singletap on those websites you're talking about with good ur (sub 50) but I genuinely can't singletap at all, I wouldn't really take those stream test results seriously

could single tap 240 in real maps back then but now i cant

130-140 streams in those sites so 260-280 1/2 but couldnt do that in real maps since i was inconsistent at that range.

also how do u singletap that fast with low ur? mind telling me ur technique?

I stiffen my index finger and use my wrist to do the up and down motion, it's almost identical to cookiezi's technique basically

Maybe it's because you're learning full alt.

For me, learning to play alt maps just fucked up my singletapping speed and streaming speed

I never had the ability to single tap fast, ive always played alt.

on a side note I still suck at fast chordjacks in mania.

For speed they are perfectly accurate, you simply lack aim and tapping coordination (when singletapping)

It doesn't matter if you alt or singletap fast, as long as you hit the notes, everything is fine👍
