That moment when no matter how much you grind, you can't even gain a single rank.
This isn't even top 5 for fc and I still can't get the score LMFAO. This game really does suck sometimes. Anyone else joining me in the forever decaying gang?
I've been decaying for almost 2 years now, whenever I can FC maps like Glory Days and Lionheart is when I'll be able to rank up and potentially hit 4 digit.
And I just can't grind maps unless it's with FL, I don't know why.

Just play HDDT on 1-2 jump maps it's not that hard

The difference is between us sparklepants, you clearly gain skill and still set crazy scores, and crazy chokes that would be worth ungodly amounts of pp. I don't do that.MrSparklepants wrote:

I cant gain pp from 1-2 jump maps, all my pp comes from tapping maps with high acc. On HDDT aim maps my acc is too garbage to get pp and I cant hit jumps like that anyways. HR 1-2 jumps arent that hard to get acc that would be worth pp, but my aim isnt good enough and never will be.I AM VERY SMART wrote:

Aim is a skillset I never improve at so I just have to rely fully on tapping, but if the tapping map is too hard my acc will be dogshit and therefore worth nothing.

Im just here because I dont play game enough, and when I do i dont play farm maps so i never beat my farm top plays

Well, if you can't make play that reach your top 20, then you won't really gain any pp.
So I guess find "easier" maps that would still be in that top 20 range?

Exactly, all these phonies SAY they are hard stuck, but they really don't know what it's truly like to be hardstuck. Especially kokomi armpit who is better than me with not even 500 hours, and still gains ranks.I AM VERY SMART wrote:

a single top 20 score doesn't even give me enough ranks to stop a weeks worth of decay. I just can't compete with these people who set top 10 scores, and sometimes even top plays every single session. 4 digit used to be within reach, but I've watched as the gap between myself and 4 digits rises further and further. I'm much better off to set goals that aren't related to how good other people are at the game.
Also, Nippon Manju is one of the best of maybe 3 maps that I could set a score on. It is by far one of the easier maps for me to gain pp on, and it's still impossible. I literally use a site that gives me the best farm maps known to man and I have played hundreds of them searching for the most doable maps for my skill level, and still none of the actual doable ones will gain me ANY pp.

I basically was decaying for 5 months or so and after i figured it out why, im not decaying anymore and im almost at my peak rank now which was 9 months ago
I've been decaying since August last year, mostly due to finding other hobbies.
idk what the difference in pp is between you and the next ranks, and I could be biased because I'm still at a point where top plays can still give ~2K in ranks, but all I can say is just shoot for those top 20 (maybe top 30) scores. I mean, if This is to be believed, you'd still gain nearly 100 ranks with just 10pp at your area, so I think it's a matter of just finding any map you can get pp on. At least, I assume low 5-digits like you don't lose 100 ranks in a single day/week.
Yes, I know you just said you have trouble with that, but them's the breaks. Fix your A-rank scores, find anything from 350pp+ with mods you can play, play stuff that's 300-350 for kicks and see if that gets you a breakthrough. Until you find the map/s that get you over that 350pp+ threshold, you aren't going anywhere.
My own mod combos goal (and need for SS's) aside, I know there are a good deal of maps I could probably seriously try for with various mods that would give 180-200pp and get me ranks even if I didn't SS them (but still had, like, 98-99%). I don't know what your situation is with your playstyle or injuries or whatever, but I sincerely doubt that there is nothing at your level you could try for. Even just using "Star>=5.7 star<=7" or whatever and D/L and play every single unplayed map that pops up just to see what feels like you could get and couldn't will find you something.
