Fixed! Some to your mod and some on my own accord. I kept the streams and most of the triplets because I like them, and I feel it adds some "flare" to the map. Thanks for the mod!!!! :)

To fix I would either do what you did earlier and in your other maps and space it out as opposed to stack it (which helps us read the music better), or delete 5 and make a slider from 4 to where 5 was.

Your sliders flow very well, but I feel like they could be spiced up just a little because it feels a little too repetitive the way it curves. Take a look at the Cendrillion difficulty in this map: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/72834. I feel like the sliders here look amazing and they also make the map flow seemingly effortlessly. For instance, the way Smoothie blankets the sliders by using a linear point on the long slider is just mesmerizing: http://puu.sh/7djtJ.jpg. Just thought I'd mention these techniques for the future, the overall simplicity of the sliders here is actually quite good.

Seemed sparse on hitsounds. I would add some whistles on some of the slider heads at the beginning, or on some of the streams, though I suck at hitsounding XD

Took a peek at that polarity video, it was helpful. The slider felt like a good fix.

Most of these were just derps on my part. The new blankets look good!

  2. Resize your Background since the recommended size is 1024x768

Insane
  1. 00:05:837 (2) - Blanket with the tail of 00:04:948 (6) -
  2. 00:11:170 (4,5) - Blanket between 4's tail and 5 would be cool. Just drag the last anchor point in 4 a little bit left and down to create a blanket but try to make it perfect!
  3. 00:13:615 (4) - Imo, this would be better timelinewise
  4. 00:16:059 (1,2,3,1) - Let the triplet overlap with the slidertrack or just simply don't let them touch. You could try to rotate the slider for both cases.
  5. 00:17:837 (5,6) - Blnaket these two
  6. 00:19:615 (4,5) - Keep the same distance here as you did with all the other circles. (1,36) It would also look better if the square would have sides with the same lenght...
  7. 00:20:948 (2,3,4) - Move 3 a bit up and blanket 4 with 2
  8. 00:26:726 (4,5) - Do a blanket between these two
  9. 00:31:837 (4) - Make this follow the slider's track
  10. 00:35:392 (5,6,7) - Keep the distances constant here. Just vary them where it fits!

  16. 01:11:170 (4,5,6) - 4 touches the track of 6 so awkward, also try to make a better triangles with the same distances between the circles.

    Check your blankets. This diff also needs more whistles and claps! Try to add them in a constant pattern fitting the music. Also your NC placement seems a bit messed up but probably I just don't understand your pattern~

    I'm not going to mod these, just giving you an advice. Always use ONE Distance Snap in your Normal and Easy diffs. Never vary with it. A variation of 0,03 from your standrad distance snap is okay but NOT MORE. Consider remapping these difficulties since your distances are kinda messed up. This may sound harsh but you really have to use a constant distance snap at these easy diffs for better readability!
    Also in Easy 00:14:726 (1) - you've placed a spinner here and right after it a slider. Don't do that since newbies are going to be confused. Talking of myself when I was a newbie or listening to other newbies you alway see how they fail hitting something after a spinner. Consider leaving one tact unmapped!
    Also consider using more long slider's espacially in easy, filling the whole tact with a repeat.

The other diffs are kinda unstructured to me, try to keep a structure. Snap some objects, rearrange there order on the timeline. Create some fancy patterns fixing the music and don't vary DS where it doesn't fit!

    I'm not going to mod these, just giving you an advice. Always use ONE Distance Snap in your Normal and Easy diffs. Never vary with it. A variation of 0,03 from your standrad distance snap is okay but NOT MORE. Consider remapping these difficulties since your distances are kinda messed up. This may sound harsh but you really have to use a constant distance snap at these easy diffs for better readability!
    Also in Easy 00:14:726 (1) - you've placed a spinner here and right after it a slider. Don't do that since newbies are going to be confused. Talking of myself when I was a newbie or listening to other newbies you alway see how they fail hitting something after a spinner. Consider leaving one tact unmapped!
    Also consider using more long slider's espacially in easy, filling the whole tact with a repeat.

The other diffs are kinda unstructured to me, try to keep a structure. Snap some objects, rearrange there order on the timeline. Create some fancy patterns fixing the music and don't vary DS where it doesn't fit!

A lot of what you said helped me, and the Insane looks a lot better with the blankets. I also fixed up the Easy and Normal quite a bit. Fully resnaped the easy and changed some sliders. Also hitsounded everything and it sounds nice. Thanks for the mod! :)

Hard: 00:23:170 End the slider at 00:23:392 (the red line) and make another slider from 00:24:059 to 00:24:503 . Sounds much better to me =)

Offset 515 much better imo.

and on your spinners, I would put whistles instead of finish. Does not fit at all.

+ Why don't you just use mp3 and video files from ranked maps? -Umi's map has excellent mp3 quality :3

Can't agree more. Your insane really not so inane to be honest. it's not bad, it's just too easy and simple. Try to follow some drums instead of long melodies.

Thank you for the suggestions :) . This was a map I made while I was still inexperienced, so I had a lot more "flow, flow, flow!" going through my head while mapping this instead of thinking what kinds of techniques and shapes would fit with the music, so I kept an almost constant DS throughout my Insane. I heard that flow can easily make or break a difficulty, but as long as it's harder than the Hard diff, it's all fine by me. I'll get working on changing the offsets and maybe snaking that video from Umi's beatmap. I think my mp3's all good as it is :D .
