School camp stories

Did anyone else go on school camps or do other similar things?

In 7th grade (12-13yo) I wet the bed

In 8th grade (13-14yo) my tent flooded drenching all my clothes in the middle of winter

Fun times

I also did some google searching about school camps, and I mostly found stuff about Australia, a bit about the US and one mention about Singapore. Is this mostly just an Australian thing? I'm guessing other countries might have stuff like scouts or summer camp which would be comparable.

yooo!! holy hell my guy!! i loved my school camp!! i actually have one coming up this year in november (yes i'm a very young person)
so i've only had one but i remember alot from camp
way too much stuff lol
huge swing, it was so much fun and filled with momentum but i was scared
caged soccer, basically soccer but with a bouncy ball, tiny little goals and literally in a small octagon shaped cage
flying fox, which was this little momentum thingy, i also got scared on this one but i still went on it. honestly kinda boring
little bike gokart thingys, i'm quite tall compared to my peers, so this actually hurt my knees so much
then there was this goofy ah cringy little camp talent thing.. eugh, it was just plain awful.

as for cabin memories, well... there were 8 of us.
while we were getting ready for bed, i was brushing my teeth alongside one of my friends, and i spat out my toothpaste on his hand accidentally. he said he had "train-a-bities" right after
2 of my friends wouldn't stop talking when we were supposed to be sleeping. so this really quiet kid yelled at them to "SHUT THE FUCK UP". it was funny af. then the next night, they wouldn't shut up. so then i made something up called the hannah montanah curse, where hannah montanah would get on top of you and kill you if you wouldn't shut up. one of them wanted hannah to get on top of him.
on the 2nd night, we were gonna have a mid night feast where we just munched on lollies the entire time. the same 2 kids wouldn't stop talking, so after i made up the hannah montanah curse and the weirdo one wouldn't stop, i just straight up said "let's have 5 minutes of silence!". they both fell asleep, which could be a good thing but not until you realise they were literally the masterminds. chucked my water from my water bottle all over them, they were still fast asleep. dickheads they were.
a few of my friends almost got caught with their snacks and shit but some random kid just bashed a pillow into the teacher's face and everyone just kinda hid under their sheets.
a friend of mine who was on the top bunk fell on the floor. funniest shit ever my guy
finally, on the night we had to leave, we all had an insane pillow fight. except for that one really quiet kid.
it also took us like 4 years to pack our stuff so we could leave.
so yeah camp was pretty goated. i might make a thread about my 2023 camp when the time comes!

If you stayed there for longer than 1 night and did outdoorsy activities then I'd say yes.

Since I am going to a Catholic school, they had this school camp where you and your classmates are going to go to a campsite owned by the academy and basically you and your team are given IDR 50.000-75.000 (USD 3.5-5) a day to spend for the food, and you are required to cook your food yourself cuz they want us to appreciate what we have even though it's not much

(despite the rlly tight budget we managed to still have some leftover cabbage lol)
