Hello everybody!!!! This is my official second map I have created. I feel it's very nice and it's extremely jumpy with minor streams and a few spinners. Overall if you like fast songs/maps, this is one for you!
Changelog:
- Added background image
- Edited the Triplets and single note area on Insane
- Fixed some note sound volume levels and hitsounds being out of place
- Fixed minor changes around the map, and moved certain notes that needed to be to continue the flow of the map.
- Continued to update the map a bit more, some changes such as distances being off, and even indicators to otherwise difficult to read sections, even the weird overlapping sliders were fixed!
- Changed background up, thanks to Myke B for helping me find one suitable for this map, thanks man!
- More minor changes to simple notes, some patterns may feel different than previous versions.
- Completed the "Easy" difficulty, mods would be appreciated! :D
- Thanks to pkmnyab for mapping "Normal" which I have now uploaded, as always, mods will be appreciated
- Just changed the Romanized Artist and the normal Artist to their respective names! I also worked a bit on easy spacing, although it's not perfect but I did what I could, thanks, and hope you enjoy the map.
- 3/17/2014 - Just finished working on mods for Easy, and Insane, normal was modded by it's creator, pkmnyab! Thanks for all the mods guys, keep em coming!!!
- 4/16/14 - Fixed flow and changed up a stream towards the end, need more mods xD
- 7/4/2014 - APOLOGISE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO UPDATE THIS MAP, I now have re-mapped hard up, fixing up the problems previously, it's now ready to be modded again xD (easy was not fixed in this patch)
- 7/4/14 - Just decided to fix a lot of challenging parts for "Hard" players. I think these changes should help them get through the song without too much trouble!

- 7/31/14 - Big update here, Did changes to Easy, pkmnyab fixed his Normal (a while ago but I just pushed it out), I also did some minor changes to insane on my own (to correct flow a bit), please enjoy these updates!
Another Quick Notice: I haven't been able to update this map due to IRL problems, but if you wouldn't mind as to mod, that would be great, I can do mods pretty quickly but the whole other difficulty was hard to do with my irl problems, but thanks anyway!

[Timing]
I suggest adding kiai time and ending it at the following times:
01:00:503 - 01:21:953
02:04:103 - 02:25:703
02:56:903 - 03:08:903

You have timing points where you make the volume of your hitsounds 44%, 46% and 45%. This isn't really important, but you should make them all one number, ideally 45% or 50% so it becomes consistent.

[Other stuff]
Hitsounds are a bit loud, I suggest reducing the volume at all points from 100% to around 80%-90%.

00:37:703 (7) - move this slider to the right a bit so that it (4)(5)(6) lead into it, like a curve.

00:40:103 (1) - 00:49:553 - you should use distance snap for this area

00:44:903 (4,5,6) - beat spacing is important in songs. Since (4,5,6) are the same distance apart on the timeline (the time between each notes is the same) then they should be the same distance physically apart. Instead of placing (5) closer to the end of (4), you should place it in the middle between (4) and (6) like this: Using distance snap will make sure your beat spacing is correct.
Of course, you can have jumps in your map, but at least for the slow parts like 00:40:103- 00:49:553 and 02:35:303 - 02:43:403 you should stick to distance snap.

00:52:403 (4,5) - space these sliders further apart since it's too easy if you put them close together. Even on distance snap multiplier set at 1x the sliders will be placed further apart. Same with 01:00:503 (1,2) and other parts in the song

00:58:103 (5) - maybe place this between (3) and (4) instead of having it at the end of (4) since it makes more sense due to beat spacing

01:22:103 (2) - make this a new combo since the guitar part starts here

01:23:753 (1) - I think you should delete this one so it follows the previous patterns, and space out the remaining two circles for proper beat spacing, maybe something like this:

02:02:003 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - place these closer together since they are way too far from each other. Alternatively, you could change the pattern and just make it all one stream.

02:13:103 (1) - Make the (9) a new combo and change the last note in the triplet into a slider. This will sound a lot better. You can change where you place the notes on the screen, but on the timeline this is how they should be placed:

02:25:703 - you can add a note here to cut off this section better and start the break after this since you already have the (1) on the vocal. Also move the (1) further away from the end of the stream.

02:41:603 (1,2,3) - place these further away from (5)

02:56:303 - Maybe you can have a slider here and then a stream as a lead-in. This is what it looks like on the timeline:


I find having it this way sounds better and is more fun.

03:11:303 - I suggest ending the song here with one hit circle. This makes a very strong cut-off and creates a strong ending. You'll find that this also sounds very nice.

Overall really good map! It was very fun to play, and fixing the distance snap in a couple of places will make the map much better than it already is! Since your easy difficulty is now complete, I will mod it~ In general I don't think you should have SV changes in easy difficulty, not sure though. Also try to keep the spacing consistent, for example always 1.0x distance spacing throughout the song.

00:26:303 (2) - looks better if you angle it a different way

00:38:903 (2) - It's better to keep the start of notes on a white tick on easy difficulties. I suggest moving this forward to the next white tick and maybe even making it a repeat slider so it ends on the start of the vocal. Alternatively, you can replace 00:37:703 (1,2) - with a spinner, which would better match the vocal at the point.

00:50:903 (2,2) - make sure you stack the heads properly

00:59:903 (1) - might flow better if you flip this vertically (ctrl + h)

01:41:303 (1) - you can end this at 01:43:703 - , it sounds better this way imo

01:58:103 (1,2) - make sure these are the same shape since the vocal is similar in these two parts

02:03:503 (1) - flows better to angle it like this:

Sorry, guys, for not updating the map at all! I've been really busy and had tough irl conflicts for the time being, I will try to update it as much as I can when I can, and since this is the case, would any of you guys like to map Hard for me? looking at your insane atm, just going to point out a few recurring issues i noticed
Only give me kudos for this post if you've decided to improve your map using the things I've pointed out in this post

  1. Imo, too many linear sliders and stuff i mean like these
    linear sliders are good however, don't use them too much. just imo, a curvier map feels alot better playing than a rigid looking map.
    The map right now just looks too rigid.
  2. There are overlaps like these 01:09:203 (2,5) - that you want to avoid. in fact, don't have anything touch or overlap unless intentional
  3. There are places where you can stack up the hitobjects to make your map look neater
    e.g 01:06:503 (5,5) - stack like this V
  4. Your insane difficulty is only hard because of the slider velocity you have. to make it more fun to play, i might consider lowering the SV a bit and throw in a couple of jumps and i mean like 2.0 distance snap jumps. (the bigger ones)
  5. Some places have bad flow like here for instance.
    here is a useful guide that will hopefully give you a better understanding of flow. Also note that its not absolutely necessary to follow flow. It's okay to break it sometimes for certain patterns, but the general rule is you should try to follow it
Also, the best way to improve your mapping skills, in my honest opinion, is through modding other people's maps. As you get to look at and analyze what make other maps good, you become familiar with patterns, and rhythms. Not to mention you also get kudos and help the mapping community. Although your first mod may be really bad, and the mapper won't take any suggestions, keep trying. Eventually, you'll get better!
