oshi no ko is not really about that that mistery that they set up in the first chapter, it's more focused on the group itself, the first chapter just sets expectations wrong lmao

Real answer probably because the hoshino siblings aren't really that complex. Aqua and Ruby are good characters but they don't have internal conflicts that charactes like Arima and Akane have. Aqua may have that revenge plot going on but it's mostly just him being a smartass and doing some good acting.

Honestly, as someone who has been reading the manga for years all I can say is, there is just some context kinda being shaved off here and there. It's not the worst of being lost but affects smaller parts of the characterization of Aqua and Ruby. That and a lot of the actual extra baggage is something that comes later on as so far its just building up the supporting cast. My brain is being psycho-analyzed by this show istg, whenever I see an episode my brain immediately knows the chapters and arc its in. God free me

I can confirm that there are, the first episode alone removed the foreshadowing to the end of the series through those interview bits that we see in the like first arc (all of episode 1 was a special that covered said first arc) and smaller details kinda get lost as the show goes onItznotme wrote:

I think the best adaptation from the manga is the Aqua acting as the villain from the sweet today
idk I think the manga also has the same problem, the aqua plot feels way too spread out, I think it's just a subplot at this point tbh

yeah, I feel like in the anime they want it to be like a secret act operation by Aqua behind the scene and will be revealed later in the end
Honestly, I think the bigger is that it has moments of random plot-slinging. This then leads to very spontaneous moments in the manga for Aqua. It's not a fault of Aqua's plot and more of Aka going from Point A to Point X out of the bluePatatitta wrote:
