New osu! mode announced on CF2013?

I've been reading some article about last year's Comic Fiesta, specifically about the osu! panel session.

So, one of an article (that can be viewed right here) posted some Q&A and one of it talks about the new osu! mode.

Q: Any new mode for osu!?
A: Apparently, he’s working on a new mode (but I already forgot what kind of mode is that). And yeah, he said it runs well too. (So I’ll look forward to it.)

Unfortunately, I cannot dig up what's that mode is. Can anyone can confirm it?

Basically. Whatever that mode is, it gives me one reason to increase my "hype mode" this 2014

I kind of missed the talk but what the heck, sounds like a promising idea, hopefully we can see a demo video or something at some point this year
