just think it's in the top 50 and that's about it, order doesn't matter because people kill for #1, if you're #1 people will start review bombing you because the anime name is not full metal alchemist and if it's not #1 people will make alt accounts to rate it 10 because they're super into the community and want it to be #1, just look that it's above and 8 and go "this is probably good", more than that it's really not credible

Yeah that's the main thing of the manga as far as I remember. It probably won't change until the finding and killing the father plot gets put into hyperdrive.

I really like how well they made episode 1 though of the show though. I still think of it as one of or the best anime episode I've seen so far. But as it continues, I also felt less motivated? as when I read the manga. I guess my taste changed a bit or I felt something was off for the anime I'm not sure.

idk, feels the chapter 1 really sets your expectations somewhere it really doesn't go to, as that plot just looks like a very secondary thing, I would say the plot of actually assembling and growing the idol group to be more relevant IMO

I personally prefer if it didn't go the idol group way though. There's too much idol anime/manga nowawadays and I think it wouldn't be as good or live up to it's potential if it went that direction.

yeah I was pretty much referring to the vocal minority for these fanbases. FMA was the most prominent one and what Patatitta mentioned so I apologize for not being more broad in my rant.
It's just pretty dissapointing that the top 50 anime list is such a shit show of one-upping each other and not having actual objectively good anime to have the spotlight. Sure the shows mentioned are good but the scores are so overinflated the bar's now at 9.10 as of writing. Dunno if that's the direct fault of the previously mentioned but it wasn't like this when I first joined the site.
