I don't believe that Best Performances update on their own so you have to play them, or earn a best performance for them to change.
The best performance that you played could have been a newly ranked map that was counted as best performance. Since, pp doesn't update until you play a map that's earns you pp, you probably lost many ranks in the mean time which will lower your pp on that map.
Also, it could be that you had higher accuracy before compared to the play you did in multiplayer. Even if you added an extra map lower accuracy can lead to pp lost on a maps because accuracy is weighted more greatly than #rank when calculated total pp earned from the map.
