The incest does make it exceptionally squicky, especially when you consider the fact that it's the most sexually-charged relationship in that show. Not that it redeems the other parts of the show, either, since it's all one giant pile of artless wankbait, but yeah.
The art and sound were fine though that doesn't exactly help it in the other categories it's lacking but hating just for incest is a little much. You watched 3 arcs containing mild hentai, I don't know what the hell did you expected when it got to her arc. Love is love and she happens to loves her brother who's the only male she really interacts with, go figure. It just irritates me to see people condemn stuff specifically for something like incest. I mean you wouldn't hate on Shinsekai Yori for some homosexuality, now would you? If you wish to judge something you have to look at all it's qualities as well as faults. Though most of this isn't specifically designated towards you, Mogs.

Also holy fuck Apex every time I read something from you it makes you looks worse and worse.
Mogsy
Except in Shin Sekai Yori, the homosexuality was a small part of the show. Yosuga no Sora's incest is pretty much the main draw to people looking into it, even if it is only for an arc. I personally can't justify incest outside of an artistic context, and YnS is artless. The entirety of it is artless. Technically-sound but most definitely just softcore porn.

Also: equivocating homosexuality with incest is a problem.

i feel you bro D: i stopped after the part with hydrochloric acid DX

Avoided Evangelion because of Love Hina rpg. "eva4hidden" cheat code in that game (just remembered why I refused to watch that)

Draws people in only to do the exact opposite? It's a visual novel squeezed into twelve episodes and then split into four parts so of course you don't get much. I'm not exactly defending the show but just saying you shouldn't dislike something just cause you disagree with it's morals. Also I'm just using homosexuality as an example as both are rejected by some people though incest probably more so.

Well.. I oughta jump in on this discussion lol. The relationship in Yosuga no Sora surely makes more sense if you've played the visual novel and not just watched the anime, and makes it more reasonable to understand lol. Since it's just as you said, they squeezed it all into a 12 episodes long anime and that leaves out much of the mainstory.

The thing is, I don't have a problem accepting a show's morals even if they don't coincide with my own. You need to approach it with tact and proper expression. YnS, obviously, did none of that. It's a rushed, lazy, omnibus VN adaptation.

As far as what Taadashi said: well, the only incest anime that I really approve of (outside of its instances in Penguindrum and Utena) is Koi Kaze; it tells a non-fetishized incest romance, dealing with it in a way that actually resonates realistically. I still don't approve of Koi Kaze'd morals but it's a damn fine title.

Like I said this isn't specifically designated at you and I'm not exactly defending it. I just don't like people hating it just for incest not that it makes it any better.

Never said I hate it. Also, it has nothing to do with morals. As example: Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai has a sister-brother-relationship aswell, just without the sexual act. It's more romancebased. Yosuga no Sora was pretty awkward for me and I don't see any reason why I should force myself to keep watching something I don't like. It was just the last big or small thing what got me to drop this anime besides other facts and it's kinda mean to say I wouldn't tolerate or hate things/people for having a incestrelationship.

I dropped Black Rock Shooter aswell, since the Plot was retarded. Do I hate Middleschoolkids aswell right now? I think not. So please, I think you too dropped a series for reasons you don't liked at the story, characters or the plot.

Yeah okay but just saying he fucked his sister made it seem like that was the only reason you disliked it. It's over the internet ya know you don't actually know what the other person is thinking or what they know. You can only assume based on provided text and stuff.
FrzR
Dropped Hyperdimension Neptunia. Because of some cliche about getting random power ups when friends are in danger. :v

Well, I'm not really a fan of hentai in general. May this was the last little thing what got me to drop the anime. Better?

I dropped the idea of watching School Days because I heard how it end (I usually don't care knowing the ending of anime i'm watching), but I was to afraid to watch after this. ;n;
Ryu Sei
Dropped Monogatari series because never watched the first episode...
hinamizawan
Years ago I dropped Soul Eater because one of the characters was annoying, looked emo and reminded me of Sasuke.
[ Stellar ]
I dropped Infinite Stratos S2 because the "plot" became too nonsensical
lukinhox
Avoided watching School Days because I heard how it ends. Well, even though this is a spoiler I was glad to know, because if I watched would be very disappointed.
Avoided Boku no Pico because I saw some gifs and pics and well.... you guys should know
Avoided Aku no Hana after seeing that animation D:
Avoided Higurashi no Naku Koro ni because I got scared after seeing this
Avoided Detective Conan because has too many episodes, I have no patience to see all of them (even though I watched One Piece and others with 200+ =.=)
- Drag -
I dropped Devil Survivor 2: The Animation because Airi died. I lost all motivation at that point.
Mofu kun
Nichijou. Because i know there will be only one season and i don't want the laughs to end.
piruchan
BTOOM! Because I found the title is strange.
Apple-san
I drop many anime because of YAOI and also I know that there are many MAIN characters who will show add and add until 20 MAIN CHARACTERS.
and I dropped MANY because I can't take the cool guys and attitude showing in episodes. 8-)

You make it sound like surprise yaoi happens all the time.
Faust
That's not a weird reason.

Apple-san is just weird.

Nah, it wasn't really dead at season one. Season one was great :)

I don't think a series that makes it's villain forget their motivation deserves any praise.

Villain? You mean Kayaba Akihiko? His whole motivation was to create a castle in the sky like he dreamed of and create a universe that he could control, he didn't forget his purpose :?
Edit: Typo

lol and you think that is good writing? Its a fucking cop out

I am somewhat skeptical about them having watched the series tho, but I guess a broken clock is right twice a day.

Hmhmm, point taken.

On topic, I almost dropped -K- because GoHands just loves to use that silly saturation in his shows.

Those bear bitches in yuri kuma arashi kept saying "gau gau" or some shit and it gave me cancer every time.

I avoided Angel Beats for over a year after it came out because I didn't want the risk of it beating Clannad in my rankings.
Also I dropped some random Ecchi anime (Can't remember what) because Sakura Trick provided me with a better boner.

Mafuuu
Avoided the Fate series for nearly a year because I couldn't decide which order to watch it in and it just got really conflicting so I just ended up ignoring it until UBW was announced.

Also Isshuukan Friends because the art style made me sleepy. Just look at their eyes. Squint me to death will you.
