First of all for Yosuga no Sora they're at least 16 years old and how is it fine up til the incest part when the other parts also have softcore hentai? Is the fact that it's incest really that bad?
I cannot fathom the fact that Mamoru Senpai can not accept the incest act, I mean, he:The Winner Man wrote:

The incest does make it exceptionally squicky, especially when you consider the fact that it's the most sexually-charged relationship in that show. Not that it redeems the other parts of the show, either, since it's all one giant pile of artless wankbait, but yeah. The Winner Man wrote:

The art and sound were fine though that doesn't exactly help it in the other categories it's lacking but hating just for incest is a little much. You watched 3 arcs containing mild hentai, I don't know what the hell did you expected when it got to her arc. Love is love and she happens to loves her brother who's the only male she really interacts with, go figure. It just irritates me to see people condemn stuff specifically for something like incest. I mean you wouldn't hate on Shinsekai Yori for some homosexuality, now would you? If you wish to judge something you have to look at all it's qualities as well as faults. Though most of this isn't specifically designated towards you, Mogs.Mogsworth wrote:

Draws people in only to do the exact opposite? It's a visual novel squeezed into twelve episodes and then split into four parts so of course you don't get much. I'm not exactly defending the show but just saying you shouldn't dislike something just cause you disagree with it's morals. Also I'm just using homosexuality as an example as both are rejected by some people though incest probably more so.Mogsworth wrote:
Except in Shin Sekai Yori, the homosexuality was a small part of the show. Yosuga no Sora's incest is pretty much the main draw to people looking into it, even if it is only for an arc. I personally can't justify incest outside of an artistic context, and YnS is artless. The entirety of it is artless. Technically-sound but most definitely just softcore porn.
Also: equivocating homosexuality with incest is a problem.
Well.. I oughta jump in on this discussion lol. The relationship in Yosuga no Sora surely makes more sense if you've played the visual novel and not just watched the anime, and makes it more reasonable to understand lol. Since it's just as you said, they squeezed it all into a 12 episodes long anime and that leaves out much of the mainstory. The Winner Man wrote:

The thing is, I don't have a problem accepting a show's morals even if they don't coincide with my own. You need to approach it with tact and proper expression. YnS, obviously, did none of that. It's a rushed, lazy, omnibus VN adaptation. The Winner Man wrote:

Like I said this isn't specifically designated at you and I'm not exactly defending it. I just don't like people hating it just for incest not that it makes it any better.Mogsworth wrote:

Never said I hate it. Also, it has nothing to do with morals. As example: Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai has a sister-brother-relationship aswell, just without the sexual act. It's more romancebased. Yosuga no Sora was pretty awkward for me and I don't see any reason why I should force myself to keep watching something I don't like. It was just the last big or small thing what got me to drop this anime besides other facts and it's kinda mean to say I wouldn't tolerate or hate things/people for having a incestrelationship. The Winner Man wrote:

Yeah okay but just saying he fucked his sister made it seem like that was the only reason you disliked it. It's over the internet ya know you don't actually know what the other person is thinking or what they know. You can only assume based on provided text and stuff.Mamoru Senpai wrote:

I don't think a series that makes it's villain forget their motivation deserves any praise.Artemity wrote:

Villain? You mean Kayaba Akihiko? His whole motivation was to create a castle in the sky like he dreamed of and create a universe that he could control, he didn't forget his purposeGreen Platinum wrote:

I am somewhat skeptical about them having watched the series tho, but I guess a broken clock is right twice a day.Faust wrote:
