Weird Tapping Block

Honestly have no idea what's going on, and it's getting worse... I have the capability to tap as fast as I really need for 5 stars, but my brain literally won't allow me to tap fast. I'll go to a tapping test and singletap 110 presses/m (more than enough), go to the game with a map that requires less, way less strenuous tapping, and be completely unable to do anything. I can rx ss most of the maps I'm shooting for but this is getting ridiculous. I've tried alting (feels weird, but I can hit patterns with either finger at least now), switching fingers if one starts performing badly, it just never works. I'm so frustrated at this point. And it keeps getting worse. When I started to pop off closer to proper 6 digit, I was actually able to tap (https://osu.ppy.sh/scores/osu/4290146663, and yes I already know I need to work on my accuracy), but now 180 bpm is a huge problem, as I mentioned I can rx ss this map first try (as in I did first try, not practiced the map a ton in rx then tried it): https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/765169#osu/1608832
but again I can't even fc it without rx.
No, I haven't been rxing (like seriously, I barely play the mod and definitely don't main it), but here I am.

Does anyone know anything? Common experience? Mindset? Am I imagining it?

TL;DR: Can't tap at all anymore, can't hit a regular 5 star jump map whereas I used to be able to hit 200bpm jumps, and no, I didn't overuse rx (and don't use it pretty much at all unless I'm demonstrating the ridiculous difference between my aim and my terrible tapping)

ok sorry for 6 digit idiocy bye

EDIT: Got some carpal tunnel symptoms, also resolved the issue, it was all mindset. Ty for the help guys!

One thing to point out is that Tapping Tests don't represent how you'll actually play. osu! is a rhythm game, so you'll be focusing on tapping to the beat, as well as aiming. A tap test gets rid of those 2 key components, the only way to benchmark your tapping is to just play the game.

To answer your question, yes, it's a common experience. Just keep playing these maps despite being unable to FC them, don't quit if you can't FC or get low acc.
It's most likely just an extended period of rust, which I too have experienced, even at times where I haven't quit the game.

There exists good days and bad weeks.

Make sure you're relaxing your hand. I sometimes end up straining too hard and I can't hit anything, then I realize the relaxed tapping my hand does when I'm not playing is a completely different position from what I'm doing at the moment.
Adjust your hand until tapping feels natural and experiment. It won't be fixed right away, but just make sure you're imitating your fast tapping.

Trying to say this in the least mean way possible, but if you're having trouble tapping aim maps then you're overall tapping is really bad. You need to play maps that have triples and bursts in them to improve your overall tapping, and streams as well once you reach that level.

At the moment you need to increase your overall tapping by playing more tapping-oriented maps.

try some easier maps, get back to old level by revisiting the maps you played before, go back more to easier ones if it's too hard.

I know it's been like 5 months but it wasn't necessarily my tapping speed. As I mentioned, my singletap speed is perfectly fine (also this mf just told me to hit triples and bursts at my rank? My man I learned those to a lesser degree when I was still a 7 digit). It was more of a mindblock thing and I misdiagnosed it (it was my aim, I move my cursor away from circles before actually hitting them sometimes).
