So I've seen a few game plays with game pad joysticks but they all use relative positioning.

so I thought if the joysticks used absolute positioning it would be easier.

So what I've found is that the ps3 controller has pretty bad lag and restricts the song difficulties to easy. I was wondering if some of you guys could test this out with a different controller or joystick and make a live play and preferably show that insane difficulties are possible.
if your wondering what the awkward looking thing on the controller is: its to extend the thumb cap making it easier to aim.
