what, no. ever since we started working with matrices linear algebra has become a litle bit understandable.Kanye West wrote:

True, I just don't like them and I don't like linear algebrasilmarilen wrote:

Theoretical mathematics actually becomes something similar to an artstyle when you go into things that will actually never be applied into real life.Kanye West wrote:
Math is a very easy subject, it's really just developing a set of intuitive methods and executing them. The only thing that really matters is the logic and not the numbers.
All you really need to do is learn a set of rules and when to use them, and math becomes trivial. I think the people who think math is hard are the ones that focus too much on the numbers and finding an answer when it's irrelevant whether you get the right answer or not.

You're absolutely right, when you start writing proofs and dabbling into the theoretical aspect, it starts to get interesting and turns into a whole different game. I was just referring to high school math etc.Rorona wrote:

It becomes far from a set of rules when you get there, but majoring in theoretical mathematics is more than just number crunching. That's called accounting.
haha i saw a hand on a notebook and i instantly knew it was vihartRorona wrote:
