I wish I could, if my parents not have a mindset of 'repair until obsolete'.
Have them take it to a repair shop and see if it can actually works

It'd be better if you could still save your broken phone. Phones are expensive these days.

If repairing the phone is cheaper, I'd say try to convince them to have that done for you first. You'll get more success out of that than asking for a whole new phone.
I've never truly had a "new" phone. My parents always pass their old phones down to me whenever they get new ones. When I became an adult they charged me for them, but not a whole lot so still. It does the job, and I don't play a whole lot of mobile games so I'm okay with it as long as webpages load fast lol

So... yeah. Went to service and they said my old phone was broke. Changing the logic board doesn't worth the money.

Anyway, now I just need to convice them to NOT overbudget for a phone. Why would a phone costs much more than a laptop?
