How did you start playing osu?
For me it's when I was sick and decided to try out my new mouse (that I had bought earlier) by playing osu lmao

I discovered a game called opsu on mobile but I found out that it was a replica of osu lol. I couldn't test its original version on PC because I didn't have one but now it's done!

i made a detailed thread how i got into osu so enjoy :)

December 6th 2021 2:30PM
I was on my PC, bored (still on quarantine) watching some Youtube Videos. A few minutes later, i've stumbled on that Video
So, i clicked it



After the Video, i clicked the Beatmap Link, so i can watch his Replay. But osu! said: Sign In to access more Features. Annoyingly, i clicked it and it led into a Download Link to osu!. So, i downloaded it and there it is.

osu! showed me some Starter Maps and i played the Tutorial. As always, i had shitty acc and immeaditely searched up for Improvement like this Video.


Days Later i Tested positive again for Covid 19 and had to stay for another 10 Days at Home. So i played osu nonstop. I had improved so much until i begged my Mom to buy a Tablet for school reasons but obviously that's a lie. But it Worked! So anyways, I played soo much that i'm on 100k now.

On July i started joining in the Forums and met new Friends.

Long story short I found Flash Flash Revolution and wanted to find other games like it so I googled "Games like Flash Flash Revolution" and osu! showed up. It's safe to say I've been well on my way to becoming an osu! rhythm champion ever since.

I think I made a post about that but anyways, I kept getting osu videos on my youtube recommends and eventually started watching it. I thought the game looked cool so I gave it a try.

Back in 2016, I saw some vid about the top 10 FC's in Osu (or something along those lines), which got me to download it initially. However, I was also pretty deep into playing GH/RB at the time, so I shelved it for years for that.

Come 2021 I start getting Osu recs again and decide to pick it back up with my new laptop, and I've been playing ever since.

I saw a a lot of youtube videos about it and I saw that there was a ranking system on each map and for the entire game based on skill, I thought it was cool that everybody was ranked and I joined to try to climb the ladder

I saw some guy at school playing it, so i went home and searched 'game with clicking circle' and found it. I downloaded it on my school laptop and I didn't really know how to play because i didn't have a mouse and ended up just using the touchpad on 1-2* maps with ez. I quit for 2 weeks than bought a usb mouse then i couldn't stop playing.

Friend of mine had osu!mania on his laptop back in around 2015, so we would play each other a lot on his laptop since I didn't have any pc or laptop, only since 2019 I had my first laptop so gotten osu on it lol

I wanted to play an "aim game" but don't like competitive multiplayer FPS games.

PS: I know osu isn't an aim game, but it definitely has an aim component to it. That's what drew me in originally. Kinda ironic since I feel like I suck the most at aim now.

I met it through Yandere Simulator back in 2014 or 2015, I guess. Not very proud of that, but, since it led me to osu! anyway, I'm glad.
