I recall using "Fraps" in 2012 when I had a trash AIO PC. Try it.
Are you gonna stream or just for recording videos?

Record, and maybe try streaming
Streaming is more intensive than recording.
How about trying OBS? Lower the settings if your computer can't handle it.
I use OBS, gets the job done for me
