[General]

  1. Timing is off. Some drums (like 00:48:728 - ) sounds off and chorus part sounds much later than it should. I tried BPM 146.030 and it worked much better - but song is most likely needs some multiple sections. Since i'm not pro at timing i strongly suggest you get some checks on it.
  2. Hitsounds in all diffs sounds too soft. Raise volume to at least +50% to all sections - players must have clear audible feedback from notes.
  3. Source should be "GOSICK -ゴシック-", according to japanese wiki.
  4. If you want, i can provide you some cool custom hitsounds for this song.
[Hard]

*Raise AR by 1 tick to improve readability of this map - AR8 works very well on jumpy chorus part.

  1. 00:06:194 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Imo, this part needs some estetical & rhythm work. 00:06:194 (1,2,3) - this part isn't really flows good and looks kinda out of place, and 00:08:043 (4,5,6,7) - sounds kinda overmapped. This part (00:08:043 (4,5,6,7) - ) can be simply replaced with 1/1 slider and pattern can be more symmetrial - so, try this: (flow better, and is related to how you mapped after)

  9. 00:48:523 (3) - Remove this note. There is nothing at music to map it and it doesn't fit itself. Following drums here is enough.
  10. 00:53:043 (7,8) - This overlapping looks kinda messy. Raise spacing between them or stack perfectly.
  11. 00:54:276 (2,3,4) - 3 whistles in a row sounds kinda too noisy. If you really want to keep them, try to make progressive volume raising from first note to last - that will works very cool here! 8-)
  12. 00:57:769 (4) - This slider looks really out of place. Replace it with 2 notes instead please.

  13. 00:59:208 (3,4,1) - Pretty much same problem with overlapping notes. Raise spacing between them please as i suggested you before.
  14. 01:00:029 - 01:05:372 - And here comes the biggest problem of this diff - this part is very overjumped for a hard, what feels very bad/unnatural. This also makes that part feels more Insane-like. Dropping spacing to 1.50 - 1.60 would solve this problem and greatly improve playability.
  15. 01:05:783 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Very nice. Flow natural and smooth, but spacing is a bit inconsistent. I just fixed symmetry, try this:

*Considering your difficulty level choise for a Hard diff i suggest you make Normal a bit harder - such difficulty jump from a calm Normal to challenging Hard isn't really good in diff spread meaning. As easiest solution - change Circle Size here to 4 - it also will better fit choosen AR and made diff more readable.

  1. 00:11:536 (1) - If you following vocals then this spinner should begins at 00:11:228 - instead
  2. 00:19:756 (1,2,3) - I understand that you want to follow drums properly but placing notes like that doesn't really work in lowest diffs - it is simple too hard & weird to catch. Make a simple 1/1 reverse-slider instead:

  3. 00:21:399 (2,3,4) - Again, one more thing to improve flow. Try something like this:

  4. 00:38:249 (1) - This spinner is too long. End it at 00:39:482 - and add note at 00:40:303 - in this way you will also follow vocals better.
  5. 00:51:194 (2,3,4) - Not for Normal diff please. Remove 00:51:194 (2) - and 00:51:605 (4) - .
  6. 00:56:125 (5) - Same, feels much better if you will remove it.
  7. 01:12:769 (7) - Here should be finish at tail
  8. 01:15:851 (5) - Again, remove this to follow vocals properly.
  9. 01:19:756 (3) - Same as Hard
Nicely mapped diff. DS choise at the beginning feels a bit clamped but it still works. Nice job here.

[Lexia's Easy]

*You missed lots of finish hitsounds during kiai. That makes this part feels bland, please add them properly to follow music better.

  1. 00:11:535 (1) - Same as Normal, make it starts at 00:11:228 -
  2. 00:13:591 - 00:20:988 - Why random break here? This is just awkward place to stop, and song is already too short to have any breaks. If you really wants to keep it end then spinner at 00:14:824 - and add note at 00:19:756. Well, best solution will be map this part anyway.
  3. 00:23:454 (1,2) - Sounds weird. Make single 1/1 reverse-slider instead to follow lyrics properly:

  4. 00:30:851 (1) - Drum-claps doesnt fit calm vocals. Make soft whistle instead. Same to 00:33:317 (1) -
  5. 00:41:947 (2) - Finish instead of whistle according to music :p
  6. 00:48:112 (1) - Weird. I already mentiored that there are timing issue, so this 3/2 slider is mismatced at repeat point (listen at 50% and you will hear it too). Remove repeat & add note here instead.

  8. 00:51:810 (2) - Finish instead of whistle according to music :p Well, check them by yourself, they pretty loud already and i guess you can add them without mentioring here every single one.

1 second kiai are not unrankable ._. they are used alot. dont throw around the word unrankable when you dont know it and if you dont know then ask a BAT or experienced mapper about it.

Offset doesn't start on vocals it starts on beat o.o

Remove the widescreen support
  • (*)00:00:851 (1,2,3) - End 2 one white tick before so that it matches with the vocals. Then put a circle on the stanza where the sliders end use to be.
    00:03:317 (3,4) - Same as above
    00:05:783 (1,2,3,4,5) - Here try this rhythm selection instead since so that it matches the vocals and lets the stanza be clickable since it has a whistle which is the most prominent sound here in this part and also cause the stanza is strong.
    00:10:303 (3,4) - Make these two Circles into one slider since having that many circles in 1 combo can be quite boring and repetitive owo
    00:11:125 (5) - Make the volume here 40% since emotion in her vocals is very high and the finish sound on that is also strong
    00:16:057 (1,2,3) - Try this placement instead since the current placement's transitions flow is to abrupt and awkward. With this placement it will release all of the awkwardness since the all flow to eachother owo
    00:19:756 (1,2,3,4) - This rhythm is to hard to hit for a Beginner and the stanza there states a new musical point and a SV change there OAO also the placement is a bit to hard since the flow is to sudden the go from down to up down to up Try this instead
    00:21:399 (2,4) - I suggest making these the same and tweeking 4's so that it not curving away form the next note to make the same click on 2 and press crtl+v on 4's timing and then rotate by -69 to get this type of placement.
    00:23:454 (1) - Since you want this diff a little more hard Break this down into something that corresponds with the vocals. Im not gonna tell you what to put down since its better for you to try this on your own.
    00:25:920 (3) - Same as above
    00:27:153 (1) - Same as above
    00:28:386 (2) - End this 1 one tick earlier to match with the vocal and not end on a strong stanza after that put a circle on the stanza
    00:30:851 (3) - if you listen closely you will here a couple sounds that resemble a drum beat within this slider the drums go like this
    00:33:317 (3,4,1,2) - Here aswell
    00:41:947 (2,3,4) - try and make these flow more naturally as of now they are a bit abrupt
    00:43:180 (1) - I think a wavey slider like this would fit much more with here Vocal extend since it sounds so harmonizing
    00:43:180 - match the volume on this 00:40:714 (1) - because the sounds are the same owo
    00:44:824 (3) - make this a 1/2 slider repeat when you listen to the music you hear a couple notes and one of which hit on the 1/2 spot owo

Well, actually there are like 2 flashes in the SB, I just wasn't sure if that was enough or not. Thanks for the tip anyways n_n, you've been very supportive

And your offset seems to be a bit early for me, I think it needs a +10 ~ +15 or something like that, tried to take the timing but turns out it was harder than expected... so... sorry, you should have the timing checked out.

00:30:029 (3) - New combo here instead of 00:30:851 (1) - makes more sense to me in this case
00:32:906 (3,1) - Same as above
00:42:358 (3) - If you delete this slider, and then add a circle at 00:42:769 - you could give more emphasis to the vocals.

Easy has different kiai times from the other diffs, so you might want to sort that out. I think you should give the other two diffs easy's kiai time.

Lexia's Easy

Nice diff

00:24:804 (3,1,2) - Perhaps you could try arranging these 3 like this?
00:44:941 (3) - I don't really like this slider imo, I think it seems out of place in an easy, and beginners could have a hard time with it.
00:49:873 (2) - You really want to move this slider to x:212 y:264 so that it blankets with 00:48:229 (1) -
00:49:873 (2,1) - Don't really like how 00:49:873 (2) - overlaps with 00:50:695 (1) - so you might want to consider fixing that.
00:52:339 (3,1) - ^ but with a different set of sliders.
01:00:558 (1,2) - I think beginners will have a hard time reacting to these two sliders, so you should change it so they don't overlap.
01:05:489 (1) - Move this to x:294 y:364, although it's only a two pixel difference, it will seem a lot more... even
01:07:544 (4,1) - I don't like the way the circle goes into the slidertrack like that, and beginners will have a hard time reading this. So please move them.
01:20:284 (5) - You really should add a note here, because although the vocals stop, a note hasn't hit the downbeat, which creates a really awkward feeling. So please consider adding a not there because it will sound a whole lot better. Trust me.

Normal

00:21:106 (1) - Remove the new combo here, because one note combo's are bad :<
00:50:284 (6) - You should move this to x:112 y:272 in order to make it kinda blanket with 00:50:695 (1) - which improves the map aesthetically.
00:52:750 (4) - Same thing here. Move the circle to x:396 y:272
01:15:352 (4,1) - You should curve this sliders to make the map look nicer.
01:20:284 (4) - Same as mentioned in easy, you really, really need to add a note here.

Hard

00:53:161 (7) - You should overlap this with 00:51:722 (5) - to enhance readability and visuals.
01:00:147 (1) - Sorry, but after this point I can notice a huge difficulty spike between the two parts ._. You should really tone it down a bit.
01:20:284 (5) - Same issue as in the other diffs, please add note on the downbeat.

I like this diff, doesn't look as polished as the other diffs though, so you might want to touch up on that. Feels like an insane on the latter part, however.
