I.. actually wouldn't like this that much if it was mapped today I think but I don't know.. I just get the good old vibes for some reason, so I'll try to help here without going too deep into the style of the map; you could rework curves with the new algorhythm (or just improved beziers) as that'd help quite much at a few parts though.

Considering this map is very old and therefore has a lot of bezier curves, I'd offer my help if you would want these more balanced out or fixed (or generally have any concerns basically), so call me back if you want some of that maybe?
Not going to pick out a lot of curves in specific because of this but I would like to see improvement being done on that because I kind of want to see this ranked, to be honest ._ .

In every diff, you have a few inherit points that are not snapped to a tick, please change this.


[Easy]

Since this is an Easy, AR4 sounds a bit high - lower to 3, perhaps.

  1. 00:19:613 (2) - this spacing is very close to the previous object and having it appear under the slidertrack will be very confusing for new people; try to find a better way to put it
  2. 00:22:095 (2) - super evil trap, don't do things like this; it's super unpredictable that this is a slider that goes the exact same path back that you just game, specifically when you're new to the game
  3. 00:33:682 (1) - similar to the first suggestion, it doesn't look nice to see this under the slidertrack
  4. 00:41:957 (1) - you could make this look way better by using an anchor and an additional bezier point; have an example below

  6. 00:55:199 (1,2,3,4,5) - having all of this stacked makes it very boring and weird to play, please do something else (a star maybe?)

  13. 02:33:682 (2) - why is this 0.9x snap? fix to 1.0x please (make an equal triangle with 1 and 3?)

  5. 00:27:061 - there's so little hitsounding in the part after this, try to get some melody in or something (even a 2/1 whistle would do well with the song)

  3. 00:45:061 (5) - moving the second sliderpoint (like, not counting the start) to 188|344 makes this wave a fair bit more smooth, so please do that

Increase drain by one? It doesn't feel like it'd kill everyone as it is and it'd be nice to have this consistent (or at least not lower) with the other Hard.

  1. 00:19:199 (6,7,8) - not exactly pretty; would at least make these not overlap anymore, maybe make them blanket each other
  2. 00:21:888 (2,3) - could make a bit of a jump here of sorts to remove the overlap (or at least move it further away so 3's start isn't as glued to 2's slidertrack)
  3. 00:24:785 (5) - I don't really understand why there's an achor here
  4. 00:25:613 (1,5) - may be picky but I feel like you should arrange this so there's a bit more of distance between those (causes hitburst overlaps)
  5. 00:38:854 (1,2,3,4,5) - actually those sliders should start on the white ticks because of the backbeat here which just feels better to have sliderstarts on than ends
  6. 00:47:957 (2,4) - I actually would like to see a clap swap here (as in, remove it from 2 and add it on 4's start); the resulting double feels good
    ^if going with this, you may very well add claps on 00:50:026 (4) - (start) and 00:51:475 (7,8) - aswell
  7. 00:54:992 (4) - add clap perhaps

  13. 01:25:613 (2) - I personally don't enjoy this crumpled slider and the finishes; the song doesn't feature strong beats here

  16. 01:31:406 (3,4,5) - I'd probably replace these with circles because the vocals are fairly equally strong on all these beats and sliders make it so you only play the first one (also, add a finish at 01:31:613 to give like a conclusive feeling to the hitfinish pattern? currently it just drips off into nothingness)
    Kiai is mirrored from the first one so same applies here as before
  17. 02:21:268 (1,2,3,4) - these reach a fair bit into the HP bar, please move them down (probably means you will have to move the whole pattern downwards but that should be possible)
  18. 02:26:233 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I could imagine a gradual increase in volume here, would fit well with the whole buildup character for the pre-kiai section

Well, putting this map for today's standards will be tough work, but I believe we can do this.
Also, adding the bubble pop icon since that didn't exist 4 years ago. And this is technically a popped bubble.

  1. As combo colours estão inconsistentes. Em duas diffs é uma coisa, nas outras duas é outra. Isso não é exatamente unrankeável, mas é altamente recomendado que você deixe igual em todas as diffs.
  2. Tira Blue Dragon das tags em todas as diffs (já que não tem mais minha diff). Nesse momento, só o Easy não tem essas tags.
  3. Recomendo mudar o Preview Point pra 00:41:130 em todas as diffs.
  4. Green sections aren't snapped in any difficulty.
[Easy]
  1. 00:17:130 (1) - Seria interessante adicionar um whistle no início desse slider, pra ficar menos vazio e tal
  2. 00:19:613 (2) - Eu posicionaria isso num lugar diferente, pq agora tá meio que debaixo do slider e isso não fica legal... Recomendo x:400 y:128.
  3. 00:20:440 (1,2) - Acredito que isso seja unrankeável. O slider não pode sair "debaixo" do outro, porque isso não é exatamente legível pra um newbie. Se você quiser manter essa pattern, recomendaria fazer algo assim.
  4. 00:22:095 (2) - Whistle no início do slider?
  5. 00:27:061 (1) - Um whistle aqui deixaria a pattern mais interessante.
  6. 00:28:716 (3) - Aqui também, mesma coisa que ^.

  13. 00:48:578 (2) - Como esse é um copypaste, a mesma coisa se aplica. A diferença é que o ponto novo no slider deveria estar em x128 y384.
  14. 00:55:199 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Ultimamente, os mappers não têm costumado stackear notas em Easy diffs. Seria interessante espalhar essas notas (tirando o (4,5,6) ) pra movimentar um pouco o mapa.
  15. 00:58:509 (6) - Ao invés de clap, usar whistles pra seguir os vocais ficaria melhor, na minha opinião. Also, um new combo aqui pra seguir os vocais também.
  16. 01:00:992 (1) - O spinner deveria começar em 01:01:820 pra seguir os vocais. Não precisa nem diminuir o tamanho dele depois, ele termina melhor em 01:08:440. Mas aí seria legal colocar um finish, ao invés de um clap.
  17. 01:24:992 (5) - Seria melhor pro entendimento do mapa colocar a nota em x:416 y:304, ficaria mais lógico pra mim. BTW, pra ficar mais correto com a música, o newcombo deveria estar aqui, ao invés do 01:25:613 (1). Aproveita e tira do 01:27:061 (1) também, não vejo muito sentido naquele newcombo.
  18. 01:41:544 (6) - Pra deixar simétrico com o (4), essa nota deveria estar em x:64 y:336.

  • Well, uhm... I really don't know how to mod this. 2009 style isn't something I want to change in this map, so I'm just gonna list stuff that's probably not gonna be okay for today's standards:
  1. 00:43:406 (4) - Runs away from the grid. I don't think that's rankable. Not sure, though.
  2. 00:48:578 (6) - I'd newcombo this, as this combo feels a bit too big.
  3. 01:41:337 (8,1,2) - Spacing a bit broken here?
  4. 01:44:647 (3,4) - I'd avoid this kind of overlapping, not REALLY necessary, though.
  5. 02:10:302 (3,4,5) - I think spacing is a bit broken in general in this diff, dunno what happened. Probably intentional because of the symmetry, but yeah, just feels like it.
  6. 03:02:439 (10) - Newcombo here to split this big combo?
[Kingcobra Hard!]
  1. 01:12:164 (3,4) - this is rankable, but may give you a few problems in the future (ranking-wise). I guess doing something like this would play/look better.
  2. 01:22:302 (2,4) - Same thing as I commented on 0_o's diff. These aren't exactly unrankable, but would it be possible to avoid them if you could? :P
  3. 01:25:613 (2) - Not sure about the rankability of this ):
  4. 01:35:130 (1,2,3) - Because of the hitbursts and the previous slider, these notes are pretty much completely hidden. I have no idea how to fix this, though. Maybe someone else will give a suggestion, but if not, I guess you'll have to remove the awesome spiral >:
  5. 02:38:647 (1,2,3,4) - Maybe move these 4 notes a bit up so the spacing between (4,5) is consistent with the rest of the pattern?
  6. 03:12:371 (1,2,3,4,5) - This is why you're my favourite oldschool mapper, Kingcobra. :D We need more creativity like this nowadays.
Pretty much only the basic stuff, there may me many more improvements to do, but this is the necessary stuff, I guess.

Just noticed drain and OD are super low in Normal, suggesting you set them to 3/4 each.
Also, Blue Dragon doesn't belong in the tags, remove his name from every diff.


Also few more things @kingcobra:
00:56:647 (3) - you added a clap too much on the end here since you did it with the whole slider selected, please fix that as the trippleclap sounds overboard.
Plus, for the endkiai spinners, I would suggest you set softsample for the first ones each as the finish is very harsh and doesn't really go with the consistent spinning. (01:04:716 (1) -, 01:59:337 (1) - ; the ones at the very end of the map are fine and actualyl very nice)
01:52:509 (4,5) - missed the doubleclap here
01:55:819 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - those are still beziers; you probably should take the updated ones from the first kiai over to here aswell
02:16:302 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - actually wasn't this part supposed to be symmetric to the respective axises here? (first four combos Y, last four combos X)
02:39:061 (3) - this finish seems a bit random
02:39:268 (4) - would suggest you add another clap here since a doubleclap goes well with the vocal stress in this part
02:54:578 (1,2) - you're missing whistles here
02:59:337 - might want to add another kiai re-trigger here for the additional flash/fountain as this is the last kiaipart for the song

I'm not all that experienced at beatmapping, but they say modding can help you learn, so here we go!
(NOTE: all times i refer to a grid, the grid snap is 3)
Easy
00:20:440 (1,2) - Moving these 2 grids to the right would center it, making it look just a touch nicer.
00:29:544 (4) - Moving this 1 grid to right to make it line up with 00:28:716 (3), which, again, makes it look a bit nicer and more intuitive.
00:31:199 (2) - I feel like this slider is shaped oddly. Because it starts on the same space as 00:28:716 (3), it feels (at least to me) that it should end on the same space (or close to, as I've never been able to get slider ends to stack right) as 00:29:544 (4). In turn, 00:33:682 (1) would have to be moved down to accommodate. You can see my suggested solution inside this spoilerbox: 00:36:992 (1,2,3,4,5) - These sliders also feel odd, but in a different way. The first two sliders go to the left, but the third slider goes right. Distance snap doesn't allow for the 1st one be flipped around, and the third one can't because it leads to the fourth. Therefore, I suggest flipping it horizontally (select it and hit Ctrl+H), then swapping the 1st slider's start and end points. Visual aid: 01:00:992 (1) - This spinner feels way too long for an Easy map. Try shortening it to start at 01:04:716 (in other words, when "without you" is sung).
01:25:613 (2) - Could you explain why this slider has claps on it? I don't quite understand.
01:39:888 (4) - Try hitting Ctrl+H on this one. It'll lower the repetitiveness of the beatmap while keeping the rhythm.
01:55:613 (1) - See 01:00:992 (1).
02:26:233 (1) - This spinner also feels a bit long. Try starting it at 02:27:888.
02:36:164 (5) - Ctrl+H this - it's the same as 01:39:888 (4).
02:37:820 (7) - Ctrl+H this, too - to keep the symmetry.
02:51:888 (1) - See 01:00:992 (1).
