  8. 01:37:141 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - hitsound volume here should be higher. i know you're trying to do a volume increase thing, but starting at 25% seems too quiet for what's going on here. doing something like this would work fine (despite going higher than the target volume) fixed

just as a last note, you might want to re-draw some of your sliders like 01:51:227 (3) - 02:06:775 (4) - 01:59:092 (3) - etc so they use the newer slider algorithm. right now they're are super grossly bendy, which you can see if you try moving their middle anchors. if you feel like making your map perfect you could fix all of those up. most people don't really notice them so it's not too big of a deal tho. there's also some rhythms and patterns i'm not a huge fan of, but eh they're acceptable i guess to be fixed

  1. hitsound volume could use some adjustment. the 15% intro is too low, 33% kiais are too low, and 20% mid-section is too low. the outro should use the same volume as the mid-section (or at least quieter than the kiai). 01:37:507 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - needs to be waaaaay louder
  2. 01:30:739 (4) - pretty sure there should be a new combo here since this is the only 2 measure combo

  1. you've got some pretty extreme jumps for a hard diff like... everywhere. it makes it hard to tell which positions are following distance snap and which are just jumps. the most extreme example of this would be 01:49:763 (1,2,3,4,1) - since they're literally spaced the same distance for 1/1 and 1/2 gaps. this same sort of broken spacing applies to everywhere in the difficulty since you've got jumps that extend past 3x distance snap at times. in most cases, it's common to keep distance snap for jumps on a hard at a max of maybe a bit higher than 2x, but more than that just makes for jumps harder than what the actual difficulty is. unfortunately, fixing this would require some remapping, so... sorry bout that :/ it just is too much.
  2. 00:01:471 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - whole section has a lot more object density than it really should. it's pretty much the same as the section starting at 00:13:178 (1) - yet the music is waaaaaaaaaaay different. you'll probably want to reconsider the rhythm you use at the beginning. i mean -- the "reunion" difficulty even has less movement than this, which is not right at all. you'll probably want to create less intense rhythms here.
  3. same nc-swapping from "reunion" would apply here too. they should be recognizeable enough so i don't have to point them out specifically.

well, other than the jumps being too extreme and those minor things, the map is... well alright. using the same slider velocity all the way through is pretty weird when the song is so dynamic, so i'd really say to lower it at places like the intro and 01:26:349 - , which really messes up a lot of what you've mapped unfortunately. the rhythms are fine for the most part, although you use a lot more 1/2 sliders than i'd really expect to be necessary in a hard diff for this song. hopefully some mods will help with that kind of stuff, and if not, i can look into it with you. the amount of stacks you use is also concerning, which some scrubby testplayers of mine were able to confirm by sucking balls at reading everything, so if you're feeling cheeky you can adjust some of those too. also just a general thing: you'll want to avoid over-curving these 1/2 beat objects like 00:18:666 (5) - . just looks better if not curved to that degree

  1. similar to the hard diff, there's some rhythm issues in the intro here. it's not actually as bad as the hard diff's stuff though, this is just a lot of issues with polarity. that issue can be found in the multiple 3/2 beat gaps here, which could easily be fixed by rethinking your rhythm to only include 1 beat and 1/2 beat gaps in the intro. something like this or this or anything in between would work, just try to avoid the 3/2 beat gaps.
  2. 00:06:592 (5) - well uh there's no sound in the music for this slider's head, which is really nonrepresntative of the music for obvious reasons.
  3. 00:24:886 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - something you'd really want to avoid in normal diffs is spamming 1/2 sliders. i know you're trying to cover the important beats, which is fine, but using more 1/2 gaps would be less uncomfortable to play. i don't want to make your map for you or anything, but just as an example, doing something like this covers the important beats in teh song without abusing 1/2 sliders like you currently are. you're really lacking in 1/2 gaps between objects, which could easily be used to make the section play a whole lot better. you're also missing some pretty important beats like 00:32:751 - 00:34:214 - which you had managed to map right before this, so #consistency yea. alsooooooo this same issue appears at the slower mid-section of the song, so i'd really suggest changing stuff up there too so there's less 1/2 sliders there.
  4. 00:35:861 (4) - using a rhythm to cover the drum roll into 1 would fit a lot nicer.
  5. 00:36:592 (1,2) - adding an object at 00:37:324 - could easily fix the polarity issue present here (explaination somewhere up there^). fits the music really well since there's a strong snare hit there

there's a couple more new combo spots which i didn't mention cuz i think you should know where i'd point them out by now. if not, i'll just point them out whenever i check the map again. there's some pretty blatant rhythm issues here though, which will require some adjustment. sorry. there's also some more catmull sliders like 01:08:788 (2) - which could be re-drawn to be less gross but nobody really seems to care about them anymore. also be sure to avoid those 3/2 gaps if possible

[easy]
  • TL;DR Everything fixed lol
  1. 00:21:226 (3) - ctrl+ging this object seems like it works a lot better. the weird motion between the tail of 2 and head of 3 is really unappealing when there's an effortless alternative available
  2. 00:21:958 (1,2) - not important at all, but rotating these counter-clockwise allows for some pretty easy stacking with 00:21:226 (3) - and 00:24:153 (3) -
  3. 00:24:885 (1,2,1,2,3) - rhythm here is uh... really awkward. the music is pretty much the same here as it is at 00:31:104 (2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - , which does it much better. replicating a rhythm like that would be good. 2 beat sliders like 00:31:104 (2) - are your friend in this section especially can't nazi fix because rotating 00:21:954 (1,2) the right amount to make it nice triangles and stuff is off the screen to make 00:24:149 (3) stack and I'm sorta lazy and don't want to muddle things around... ._.
  4. 00:25:982 (2) - the reverse on this is unsnapped by 2 milliseconds, which is... uh... bad. resnapping shouldn't be hard tho.
  5. 00:38:787 (1) - like 2 pixels from being offscreen. you should reallllllllly move this upwards
  6. 01:05:129 (3) - 01:59:275 (3) - uh...what's with the hitsounds on these? they're not in any other difficulty and they don't follow anything specifically in the music soooo kill them
  7. 01:14:732 (1) - the length of the spinner here is too short for an easy. extending the break or whatever it's called (note the nc) works to give the same effect. extending the spinner to go through another measure like 02:14:733 (1) - also works, but if you choose that, do it on all of your own difficulties too for #consistency. if hanzer doesn't really want to do it on his diff that's fine.
  8. 01:52:324 (3) - would be nice to not have 01:52:690 - as a slider end. rethinking the rhythm there to have the downbeat be a clickable object would be veeery good. anything like 02:02:934 (1,2,3,4) -
  9. 01:54:153 (1,2,3,1) - supernazi but these should all have equal spacing between sliderbodies.
  10. 02:02:202 (4) - better to make this into a 1/1 slider. will cover that note on next white tick + no more bad polarity, which is even more of an issue on an easy diff
  11. 02:14:733 (1) - same thing as normal. would apply to that other spinner too if you decide to keep it as a spinner
better than normal/hard at least. getting this diff to a ready-state shouldn't be as problematic


sorry to say, but i don't think that this map should have been bubbled. there's some pretty clear rhythmic issues in the lower difficulties that need adjustment along with some other minor things in all of jezag's diffs. anyway, i really think this should get a few more mods before pushing it forward again, specifically focusing on the non-hanzer difficulties. i'll try to get some quality modders to take a look at it as well, since it's also my responsibility to get this rebubbled, but you should try to get some too. i haven't looked at hitsounds closely, but will do when re-checking eventually

Alternatively, you can adjust the pattern of 00:21:954 (1,2,3) - so it flows instead of stacks. You should be able to maintain your Distance Snap without changing anything major via this method.

Instead of blanketing the Slider 3 at 00:56:345 (3) -, you need to make it more playable by increasing the horizontal distance spacing between the objects so the player has a clear path from Slider 2 to Slider 3. @SNB -- found no issues other than combo colors (jezag fixed this) . I think it's fine to approximate the stream like that, it would be fcking hard as fck to play otherwise because i don't think the solo was timed to a metronome and wouldn't be fair to players at all.

  3. 00:23:784 (4) - The whistle should be a drum whistle, and the one on tail of 00:23:053 (3) should be removed. It sounds weird.
  4. 01:32:198 (1,2) - This rhythm sounds really weird to me. It doesn't follow the vocal in my opinion. Try putting the slider first then the circle after 1/2 a beat. It would sound better. This also goes for 01:33:662 (1,2) -, but the rhythm suggested isn't good. Maybe extend the slider so it could be a 3/1 slider?

  3. 01:32:198 (1) - Curve it to the opposite direction, so the 2nd node can be on x:23 y:153. This will shoot to the next slider, instead so returning to the previous one, so it can make a minor improvement in the cursor's movement.
  4. 01:40:979 - Same suggestion in the Normal mod, and this goes through the mapset.
  5. 01:49:759 (1,2) - Add finishes to keep the consistency through the mapset.

Hard

  1. 00:07:137 (1) - The downbeat should have something to click on, so placing the tail won't be right. I suggest to start the slider on that beat, and a circle on 00:07:137 so it won't be awkward.

  1. 00:11:345 (5) - The slider seems to be too far from the previous slider, compared to the others like 00:09:332 (4,5) . I suggest you move it to x:232 y:348 to get a better flow and get the blanket with the tail and (4).
  2. 00:19:943 (5,6) - I would switch the places for these circles for a better movement, but it's the fault of my skills, so you don't have to follow this.
  3. 01:25:979 (3,1) - Try adding space between them, so it could make a jump? It would emphasize the strong beat. Or, extend it to the blue tick to get that long note that starts from 01:25:979 .
  4. 01:43:906 - The stream isn't fitting with the music, due to multiple time signature. But, keep it there, and we'll see in the future.
I don't have anything to say for HanzeR's difficulty, it's perfect.

    the fact is they are not 1/4 , This map got disqualify once because i mapped full 1/4 there....
    its actually starting from 1/2 to 1/6 to 1/8 to 1/6 and there was like twice of 1/8 , then back again.... which is absurb...
    yeah as mapper our very first reason is to make it simple by making consistent 1/4 , but some people are jst being to nerd...
    ask a STD BAT or QAT first before they disagree on this XD

  • I like how you guys can change sampleset manually into drum with the current timing of Soft...
    but i got some tips to improve on what you've hitsound so far.... by simply add this :
  1. Download and rename this as drum-hitwhistle.wav and This , rename as drum-hitnormal.wav, this will take immediate effect here : 00:13:540 - , 00:14:271 - and similar part ^^ , see if u like them....
  2. For additional, u can add this by renaming into drum-hitfinish.wav and will automatically fix this part : 00:18:662 - and 00:18:845 - this is suggest having the drum-finish as well, because both are the same sound.... if u think finish is not enough, u can add whistle as well, assuming you add the custom hitsound above ^^
  3. Also at "Reunion" , if u did follow and use the drum-hitnormal above ^ , u can add new timing here : 00:30:186 - till 00:30:735 - into D:C1 with 52% volume ^^b and hear the awesome and simple effect.
    01:37:320 - same ^ , with D:C1

and at the first glance i really really didnt hear anything need to be mod further on hitsound at Reunion ^^
beside on HanzeR's Insane some chorus got soo many soft finish spam XD hehe... not really a problem thou....

I don't get what you mean by "move drums" :<
The added drums are there so BATs can't complain, yet soft enough so it doesn't really take much out on the guitar solo for the diffs without a stream (easy normal intermediate and hard)

  2. The song comes from Collection 1: Deemo selection. So suggested tags: collection, collection_1 and selection.
  3. Rayark Games made also Cytus, older brother of Deemo. Why not add Cytus in tags?
Why Winek in tags? He made any diff?

If there were another, more enjoyable way to map this, I would definitely do it but for now, there seems to be a guitar stream here and so I mapped it :< [btw I kno that 01:43:906 (1) might be an awk start to the stream, but it fits the guitar, so tap the slider with the less dominant key first then stream or whatever]

I'm guessing that you're referring to 01:49:759 (1,2) instead of 01:51:223 (1,2) (which happens to be where your link is redirected :?) Anyway, there are two cymbal clashes in the background, not the music, that I'm mapping
