Why do people (especially the higher ranked people) play at a lower screen resolution (1366 x 768) despite having a high resolution monitor (1920 x 1080)?

Easier to see the entire playfield
Everything scales down, so jumps are a bit easier and circles are a bit harder to hit.

Honestly the thought of playing at a different resolution from the same old 1366x768 didn't even cross my mind for a year and a half, until I finally switched to fullscreen on a whim (and later on to 1440x900 windowed). I think this applies to most people, they don't really see much of a point in switching their osu resolution since they're already used to whatever they use (usually 1366x768).

I play with 1920x1080, i have to play on a laptop on the weekends and I hate the tiny resolution, depending on your distance from the screen I can imagine it doesn't help anyway playing with absolute tracking on a tablet.
