Just changed 00:46:137 (116) - k, I want to keep only dons in 00:46:887 - 00:51:387 as the drums are quite similar there.
The one in Kantan the pitch is high there so a kat fits better
Also I'd want to keep the spinners consistent, as maware -> spin :3
Thanks for modding :)
Naryuga

From Zenx' Mod Queue o_o another maware -> prolly modded 5 of those

00:07:324 (40,41,42) - k,k,d > _,_,D | Emphasize on "pon" vocal /*The "pon" isn't that strong to deserve a big note imo, but changed the don for a kat here for emphasis purpose
00:10:605 (59) - + d | Your pattern seems to be repeating a lot, I suggest adding a don to change the rhythm here a bit /*Since this is true and the music is clearly different, I did something different here, changed 00:08:637 (47) for a kat and same for similar spots

- You might have to remap the hitsounds for kantan, it seems to bland and simple, don't use single sounds for each section /*My mapping style in Kantan is having mostly dons with katsu notes when the music calls for it, this case is special as whole parts in the music has the pitch to be katsu, and beginners would find this friendly to them as they won't have to switch colors too often (until kiai).

Thanks for the mod, with the few spots you mentioned I managed to improve the beginning of the map, which was clearly repetitive in Oni D:.

2013-12-19 12:27 o0ohitomio0o: hello
2013-12-19 12:27 DakeDekaane: hi
2013-12-19 12:28 o0ohitomio0o: can we do IRC as m4m for this?
2013-12-19 12:28 o0ohitomio0o: ACTION is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/328611 Harada Hitomi, Kayano Ai & Ogura Yui - Maware! Setsugetsuka [Kantan]]
2013-12-19 12:29 DakeDekaane: sure :p
2013-12-19 12:29 o0ohitomio0o: I'm not so confident with taiko mod ;w; but oh well
2013-12-19 12:30 DakeDekaane: don't worry, I'm not too good giving IRC mods too xd
2013-12-19 12:30 00:07:512 (9) - this red instead? *not familiar with all those dons & katu & stuff :p*
2013-12-19 12:33 DakeDekaane: the vocals calls more for a blue, as they have more emphasis than the red ones in the beginning :p
2013-12-19 12:33 o0ohitomio0o: ok so we keep the blue there
2013-12-19 12:34 o0ohitomio0o: 00:10:512 (14) - red? more suited than 3 blues there imo
2013-12-19 12:36 DakeDekaane: maybe, but I prefer having the whole part as blue so beginners don't have to switch colors like that, dunno, it may feel a bit uncomfortable
2013-12-19 12:38 o0ohitomio0o: ur beat spacing is a whole beat apart, so I think it's ok to switch color, and personally I think beginners should be given those patterns to get familiar
2013-12-19 12:38 o0ohitomio0o: like, to train without having to move up a dif harder?
2013-12-19 12:40 DakeDekaane: there are harder Kantan for that
2013-12-19 12:41 DakeDekaane: easy Kantan like this are for true beginners
2013-12-19 12:41 o0ohitomio0o: ok
2013-12-19 12:42 o0ohitomio0o: 00:19:887 (30,31,32,33) - I don't get it very clear this part
2013-12-19 12:42 o0ohitomio0o: y r the notes suddenly a whole stanza apart? :s
2013-12-19 12:43 o0ohitomio0o: isn't 2 beat spacing enough?
2013-12-19 12:44 DakeDekaane: the thing is, the diff would become too monotonous, and that spot is good to make pauses due the complexity of the percusions
2013-12-19 12:46 o0ohitomio0o: hmm
2013-12-19 12:46 o0ohitomio0o: if that's ur idea
2013-12-19 12:48 o0ohitomio0o: things I noticed at the later part r basically the same
2013-12-19 12:48 o0ohitomio0o: 3 blues, 3 reds, like that
2013-12-19 12:49 o0ohitomio0o: but really good dif
2013-12-19 12:49 o0ohitomio0o: *lol the better the map, the worse my mod*
2013-12-19 12:49 DakeDekaane: yep, I give priority to consistency in pattens xd

2013-12-19 12:51 o0ohitomio0o: long strain of blue :S
2013-12-19 12:51 o0ohitomio0o: why not make it like the first part 1 red 1 blue
2013-12-19 12:52 o0ohitomio0o: only this time switch it to 1 blue 1 red
2013-12-19 12:53 DakeDekaane: let me test it
2013-12-19 12:53 o0ohitomio0o: like this perhaps?

2013-12-19 12:53 DakeDekaane: plays nice indeed
2013-12-19 12:53 o0ohitomio0o: :D
2013-12-19 12:54 o0ohitomio0o: 00:20:262 (47) - red?
2013-12-19 12:54 DakeDekaane: due the high pitch present there I prefer leaving a blue there
2013-12-19 12:55 o0ohitomio0o: so no red
2013-12-19 12:55 o0ohitomio0o: 00:27:387 (68,69,70,71,72,73,74) - another blue string lol
2013-12-19 12:56 o0ohitomio0o: try new patterns?
2013-12-19 12:56 DakeDekaane: yes, changed like the first one red blue red and so
2013-12-19 12:57 o0ohitomio0o: imo I'll have it like this
2013-12-19 12:57 o0ohitomio0o: http://puu.sh/5RrIM.png
2013-12-19 12:57 o0ohitomio0o: some variety in order can never be bad
2013-12-19 12:58 o0ohitomio0o: *unless u overuse it lol*
2013-12-19 12:59 DakeDekaane: the music hears like alternating the whole part, so I'll keep an alternating one there, having to hit two reds and then alterate each one dunno, I don't feel it nice x3
2013-12-19 12:59 o0ohitomio0o: well that's just my suggest
2013-12-19 13:00 o0ohitomio0o: 01:22:887 (33,34,35,36,37,38,39) - same there
2013-12-19 13:00 DakeDekaane: yes, applied a similar one as before
2013-12-19 13:01 o0ohitomio0o: I ran out of time :(
2013-12-19 13:01 o0ohitomio0o: exam at school now
