[Archived] System refuses to submit CTB scores even though online?

After playing quite a few games and double-checking with some records online, I realize the system sometimes doesn't submit certain scores? (Perhaps its because I'm using a school network)

For example, in the map Infected Mushrooms - The Pretender (http://osu.ppy.sh/s/82912), the system shows that my best record is a score from last month, yet I just SS'ed the song just now.

I can upload a replay file if necessary, but can anyone give me an explanation?
(Sorry if someone has answered this question before, I'm new to this)

This is not really the right place to ask but. Its possible you closed osu! before it can submit your score (possible with connection lost). Just play it once more and it should be okay.

Man that sucks. You probably got disconnected while playing the map. Exact same had happened me couple weeks back but unfortunately you can't do anything about it except try and get the same score over again.

Actually, osu! would retry submitting the play again after reconnecting (except if osu! was closed).
In my opinion, its either a program is blocking osu! to connect through the net, or a program considered by osu! as a cheating tool, is opened, or your Internet Service Provider (ISP) was limiting your connection.

osu! retries for up to 30 minutes. you are likely doing something dodgy if it doesn't say it is retrying.

Same thing happens to me. About 30 minutes ago I passed this song with Flashlight in Catch the beat: http://www.pixtr.org/photos/20131209138659600109237.jpg.

Then, I looked in the Local Ranking. My score is there, no doubt: http://imageshack.com/a/img706/4171/fep3.jpg.

But, when looking at Global Ranking list, it's like I never played it: http://imageshack.com/a/img716/2404/xjsp.jpg. And it doesn't appear on my profile as well.

It keeps saying "score submission failed" in the down-right corner or not? If yes its possible that something is blocking osu! from submiting your score. Try disabling every other programs and try out that way. If not then you just need to wait since its possible sometimes that your score isn't appearing immediately after submit. (Well it isn't on your profile either.)

On the finish screen, under Online Ranking it kept saying "Retrieving .... (forgot the whole sentence)". I waited for about 5 minutes, it was still saying that, then I tried to see if I can watch the replay, and yes, replay seems to exist.

I mean in the down-right corner of the osu! window and it should appear on every screen not just at the results. And it has a red color.

Nope, now I now what you mean but no, it didn't appear. I tried closing my browser and everything except osu!, and tried again with Flashlight, same thing happened. Then, I tried playing the same difficulty with no mods, and strangely everything was okay, my rank appeared immediately.
So my assumption is that maybe something is wrong with Flashlight score submissions.

Yeah, it should be someting wrong with it, I check it out. One more thing, are you using test built or not?

I have access to it, but no, I used it just once, and that was about 3 months ago.

Okay, I tested it and its working just fine to me. Try to delese osu.dll and redownload it trough updater.

I tried playing with Flashlight on another map, works just fine. Then I did what you said and tried Bat For Lashes [Normal] again, with Flashlight.
Still doesn't work.

It seems the bug is only appearing at that map. o.o
