A few too many spinners in my opinion, this can wear the new player out.

I would recommend combing over your combos again so that all your new combos start on the first bar in 4/4 time.

01:45:104 (3) - And again here for the start of the next phase after the pause between notes. The spacing between these notes is too short for it not to be highlighted with a new combo or it will confuse people.

01:48:085 (5) - Rotate this slider so it at least fits the line of the next slider. Also move it so the head and tail are hugging the body line of said slider. You also avoid an overlap. 01:54:606 (4,5) - I recommend these 2 sliders blanket a little better like this (http://puu.sh/781q4.jpg).

On a side note, with the insane before I mod it, there are quite a few overlaps which can the map look untidy. Remember, even though it is AR9 and it wont LOOK like a collision, it still in the players eyes disrupts the symmetry and evenness of the map in general.

Consider the curve of sliders in accordance to where the next or previous note is to maintain a smooth steady flow which I can see you are going for so good luck.

I'm going to come back and mod the rest of these diffs, but I felt easy needed the most work so i'l leave it at this till I've finished work! Good luck!

I can't thank you enough for this mod!
I am really awful with modding Easy / Normal because there are so many restrictions such the the DS, I've fixed everything you said and I've learned tons, I was so restricted to the DS so I had some ugly patterns going on, I'll go over everything again, thank you so much!

I am looking forward for the rest of the mod!

Sorry, I'm really late and kind of busy these days, so I just point out some general setting stuff and skip hitsounds atm. I will mod it detailedly when I have time. ;__;

General

  1. BG size is not standard, a standard one should be of 1366*768 or 1024*768. I have resized it for you, feel free to use it :)
  2. Your offset throughout the whole mapset is inconsistent, and this is unrankable according to the ranking criteria.

  4. One suggestion is placing those streams in a more curvy way, like what you did at 02:12:492 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) , it's much more comfortable for players to stream with some angles.

  1. 00:08:968 - 00:45:857 - 00:47:348 - 00:48:279 - 01:41:564 These green lines are unnecessary, please delete them.
  2. 00:53:216 - This green line is duplicated with different volumes. Place one green line at a time point only.
  3. 00:44:553 (1) - I think you better don't use this kind of slider coz in this thread, this kind of technique has been discussed recently.

Hard

  1. 01:30:858 - This green line is unsnapped, snap it to 01:30:851.
  2. 00:53:962 - 01:47:620 - Unnecessary green lines again.
  3. 00:10:085 (2) - This DS is really confusing, when I testplayed it, I hit it right after end of 00:09:340 (1) .
  4. 00:17:538 (4) - Stack with 00:17:165 (2) perfectly would be a lot aesthetic imo.
  5. 00:48:093 (1,1,1,1,1,1,1) - I wonder if it is necessary to use so many spinners here. I suppose the music here is really powerful and it's still the kiai time, so I recommend you map these instead of placing spinner spams. Trust me, it would be a lot more fun. XD
  6. 01:08:960 (3) - As mentioned above, this DS.. DX
  7. 01:30:199 (8) - NC this for the sake of cutting the combo number.
  8. 01:35:975 (1,1) - Remove NC. There is nothing special here imo.
  9. Well, I would say you shd find a consistent pattern of placing NC, for example, NC every 1/2 big white tick(s), or follow the vocal. It would be much more neat and clean if you do so.
  10. 01:48:644 (1) - Mentioned above.
  11. 01:51:066 (1) - End this at 01:52:557 and place a circle at 01:52:929 , which, as a player, is a lot comfortable. Also, move this 01:53:302 (1) to 01:53:116 & remove the NC to follow the lyrics perfectly, like what you did at 01:54:606 (6) , 01:55:910 (9).
  12. 01:59:823 (2) - DS, it makes me hit immediately after the previous slider again.
  13. 02:15:473 (7) - Are you sure this slider is readable? I would recommend you place a few grids different from 02:14:914 (5) such that players can notice them even without a transparent skin.

Normal

  1. 00:06:732 - 01:05:792 - Both are unnecessary green lines. Please delete them.
  2. Take a look at the AImod and you will find two objects' ends are not snapped.
  3. The SV is really really slow for this diff (and why all use 0.5x in the timing session? I can't figure out why.. If all of them are 0.5x, why not change it here? 1.4*0.5=0.7, in fact Normal normally has a SV of 1.0-1.2x), and it makes no sense that Normal has the same SV as Easy lolll, tho the placements of rhythm make it like a Normal.
  4. 02:19:386 (1,2) - DS, make sure the DS is consistent throughout the whole diff.

Easy

  1. 00:06:732 - 02:22:367 - Both are unnecessary green lines. Please delete them.
  2. I think what you can is to change the DS to 0.7x instead here.
  3. 00:41:013 (1,1,1) - These NC are not necessary imo, coz there aren't any tricky stuff involved.
  4. 00:54:427 (3) - DS, make sure you check the whole diff for consistent DS.
  5. 01:37:652 (2) - ^ I stop spamming you here about the DS, please check them once yourself because I am too lazy and my nickname is IamPiG.
  6. 01:44:359 (1,1,1) - Mentioned ^^^^^
  7. As for the NC, please check out what I hv mentioned in the Hard diff.

I suppose the music here is really powerful and it's still the kiai time, so I recommend you map these instead of placing spinner spams. Trust me, it would be a lot more fun. XD I'll leave it as it is, this is a known and weird pattern but I think it fits and I like it here.

  2. Take a look at the AImod and you will find two objects' ends are not snapped.
  3. The SV is really really slow for this diff (and why all use 0.5x in the timing session? I can't figure out why.. If all of them are 0.5x, why not change it here? 1.4*0.5=0.7, in fact Normal normally has a SV of 1.0-1.2x), and it makes no sense that Normal has the same SV as Easy lolll, tho the placements of rhythm make it like a Normal.

I made 3 different versions for your bg. The first is just a slight touch up to remove artifacting, the second and third also have that touch up plus extra levels of contrast (imo it makes it look a bit prettier :3)

here are the 3 different options:

really could use extra spacing on the notes so they dont stack up on each other. I highly recommend rearranging the notes with higher Distance Snap. notes that overlap on each other are generally not appealing to look at.

(such as the jump segment 00:24:061 (5,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - ) the spacing between these notes shift from very large to stacks seemingly randomly. Parts in the song which do not call for jumps have large jumps and areas which could be jumps are mapped as stacks. And this is repeated throughout the song. (It really felt like I was playing a jump practice map)

After checking AiMod, there are quite a few times where distance snap is ignored, with most of them being unnecessary. Also on alot of the stream particularly towards the end they become much more spaced, during which the excitement/tempo of the song does not change, basically, the streams do not need to be spaced. (01:04:309 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - )

The first thing you mentioned is to simply make some interesting patterns in the map that require a bit better reading, I don't want a pale map with the same DS and 'meh' patterns all over, I don't see any huge jumps and they're pretty fun to play, on a side note I did notice other stuff that I didn't like and I've changed them.

Also, for the streams, I've changed them.

Okay that's all, there's something more but I think that you should fix the big problems first!
I will be honest: In my opinion Hard should be remapped for two reasons:
1) You should make it a bit easier to fit the gap Between Normal and Insane
2) Most of the patterns are messy, the sliders are ugly to see and the spacing is really irregular
The other diffs need work but I'm ok with them!

I have to agree with previous post in terms of starting the song. Maybe not at the specific time he/she mentioned, but I think the song can start better somewhere else.

[Easy]
For this difficulty especially, you want the DS equal at all times for easy flow.
  1. 00:20:893 (2) - Set coordinates to x=363 y=255
  2. 00:35:055 (1) - Curve slider a bit more (for better cursor flow) like this
  3. 01:14:558 (3) - Lessen the curve of this slider a bit
  4. 01:16:048 (5,1) - Suggestion > move slider to this position so (1) doesn't awkwardly overlap the previous 4 (putting the (1) right underneath it rather than sticking out).
  5. 01:17:912 (2,3) - Curve these sliders so it's not so linear
  6. 01:41:390 (7,1) - I guess it's just preference/style when you overlap notes. I suggest moving them away (or re-shape) so the (7) doesn't overlap.
[Hard]

  • This whole map can be improved greatly!Watch the spacing. Keep it consistent (where it can be). You keep constantly changing it at parts in which I personally don't think need to be. At the moment, you're jumping from 1.80 to 1.60, 1.70, 1.40! Referring to > Not pointing them out (except for ones that I think need to be mentioned)
