Oh, fun. I'm not throwing any second seasons on here or 2012 continuations that may have started in Winter 2013 (so no Chihayafuru, Uchuu Kyoudai, or Shirokuma Cafe).

  1. Best anime: Uchouten Kazoku, Aku no Hana
  2. Best anime song: Linked Horizon - Guren no Yumiya (Shingeki no Kyoujin), ASA-CHANG & JUNRAY - Hana -a last flower- (Aku no Hana)
  3. Best action: Shingeki no Kyoujin
  4. Best comedy: Hataraku Maou-sama!
  5. Best drama: Aku no Hana
  6. Best male seiyuu: Takahiro Sakurai
  7. Best female seiyuu: Izumi Kitta
  8. Best male character: Shimogamo Yasaburo (Uchouten Kazoku)

I thought about best movie, but given the osu! community, we would have to vote on movies that came out last year (since they take 9 months or so to come out on DVD/BD) and there would be like 4-5 movies to vote on, which is really small. On top of that, I don't even know how many people have actually watched an anime movie that came out this year. I have a feeling that number is also small.

If you can show 2 other people thinking it will be worthwhile to vote for, I'll add it, but I think it is slightly silly (movies are already allowed for all anime categories already).

Not everything needs to be a masterpiece, and there are more than a handful of titles worth watching within a ten year period because peoples' tastes vary. Anime is a medium much like film in that there are of course great/important works of art (some of which, like Madoka Magica and Penguindrum, are more recent than others) but also plenty of genres for people to explore based off of what they like. Not everyone's taste is your own. Stop spreading this shit in every fucking thread in OC.

Since this is best anime for the year, I am allowing changes up till Dec, 31st (not decided on what timezone yet, but shouldn't be a big deal). If that is unfair, then tell me what is a better date.

I might actually be changing more than just my favourite anime. xD

Personally, I just wanna make sure the anime are done with the exceptions being the longer ones like Strike the Blood.
I think my latest one's last episode is on December 27th. So the 31st is very fair.
