There is like a million threads like this, learn to use the search function.
OT: Reds are probably the way to go but you should try all of them in a shop or something.

I agree, reds are the best. People always say that it is hard to type on them but I own reds and don't have any difficulty typing.

If you want to try all the switches at the same time you can buy one of these....

Why?

I use blue switches, and can't say they're too bad at all. I have nothing to compare to though aside from a rubber-dome keyboard, and an IBM Model M (both were fine for me as well with osu!).

Haven't tried red, brown, black, or whatever other colors exist for mechanical switches.

If you can, find a way to try the switches before purchase though. I personally don't mind a loud clicky keyboard (loud typing gives the illusion of super-fast typing to others :p) but some might be thrown off due to bottoming-out and the actual point of key registering.

Blues are very good.

Reds are the best.

Period. This is not about personal preference but about facts, reds are the lightest switches around, so they are objectively the best. You may "prefer" blues because of the click thing, but that does not make them better. If you could get used to the no-click thing of red switches then they would simply outrank blues.
Natt
The clicking of blues pisses me off.

tactile feedback, also i'm speaking relatively in comparison to other switch types.

also just because you can get a good score on them, doesn't instantly make it good.
I could post a screenshot of any play i did with a crappy 10 year old keyboard with broken keys and coke spilled onto it, and it wouldn't mean that it's a good keyboard.

that's just your opinion.

rubber dome 4 lyf.

in all seriousness, reds are just lighter versions of blacks, and blacks are recognised for being the easiest to reliably stream with, so red should be good for osu! blues are good for typing

I got some noise isolating headphones and now the absence of any clicking sound whatsoever is pissing me off. I literally hear nothing from my blackwidow anymore :( NOTHING!

thanks for telling me that in a thread where the OP literally asks for an opinion, you're so edgy.
Pizzicato
you talk like it's a fact. at least say so.
Wishy
People will argue about what switches are the best and you can actually read the facts, opinions are worthless when you can check each switch specific data. You may like something bad more than something good, that doesn't make it good.
Cokezi-
I hate blue switches so much.. So glad I bought a k70 with red switches..
Senryakku
Red user, happy with it, anyways it all comes down to the player, all you need to do is feel comfortable with your keyboard. ( even though mech > rubber )
