Brazil and Australia are unable to find a time to play in this weekend. We're waiting for a solution from the Management.

Thank you, Finland, Russia, and Poland for the great matches and experience! Next year Estonia will have something to fix and improve as the first landmark has been set. It was thrilling to play in the OWC. Good luck to everyone proceeding!

1st vs. 2nd is far more interesting, it will let the 'better' countries advance further.cr1m wrote:

I requesting to change this - 1st place from group with 1st place from other group, not 1st with 2nd!!!!
I think it will make next owc round more interesting and competive.
What do you think about it?

Actually I didn't have enough time to check all the maps on the pool so maybe you're right (Most maps were added yesterday) but most picks aren't mine, so that's why you could maybe see a weird difficulty variety on the pool, but as I said before, we were really rushed to finish this, and the pool was supposed to be released around 22 hs UTC, but oh well.Zarerion wrote:
the NoMod picks are okay.
My only worry would be Paradise Ghost which seems way harder than most of the other maps
Raijuka - Grim is ridiculously easy, and Hidden doesn't change anything about that
Also it's beyond me why you would put Deep Sea in Freemod Bracket when it obviously should be a Hidden map. Now everyone can just HR it, so it becomes pretty easy...
Let's say Wishy was available for the first pool only, then if I wanted to start with the next one I had to do it for myself only and didn't want to. We got another picker a bit late and then Loctav told us to finish the pool in 24 hours, so as you can see we didn't have enough time for it.PortalLife wrote:
You should of started work on it when the groups started.
Yea, but what do you think will happen NEXT round? Japan and Thailand will meet later. Meeting further on = more stress = harder maps = better match. That's why 1st vs. 2nd is far better.cr1m wrote:

Btw Japan vs Thailand looks more interesting then Japan vs Netherlands (look this table)
If 1st vs. 2nd - I can predict almost all results =/ no challenge at all next round...
You tell the truth, so the best way - to RANDOMIZE pairs?GladiOol wrote:
