Hi there o/

I like this song so I'll give you a few pointers.

  1. Ok, so this song is definitely not 312 bpm haha. Also I'm pretty sure you only need a single offset.
    Try:
    1. BPM: 155.20
    2. Offset: 542
      This works for me, but I'm not 100% sure because I'm not an expert at timing. If you use this new bpm, you can map comfortably using 1/4 beat snap divisor.
  2. Uncapitalise the tags.
  3. Add tags: aniplex trigger ending
  4. I know this is work in progress, so I'll leave it at that.

I couldn't find a comfortable BPM several times between 153-158.
I ended up slapping on 312 BPM and started working in 1/2 or 1/4.


Changed the tags like suggested.

BPM: 155.20
Offset: 526

Its just looking fine when hearing it. Well the BPM is just the same.
Also, it looks like this music was a TV-sized ending so I suggest putting "(TV Size)" on the title.

To be honest, I'm not sure if you mean the star rating for difficulty.
I tried my best to make sure that no two difficulties are too alike.
Also, easy mode is still a work in progress, I'm not even done with 10% of it right now. I'll be done soon.

I did only play the hard diff., but you should use "distance snap": there are circles with 0,40x distance and circles with 2,00x distance (with the "time between circles"), distances between objects should mean the time between beats in the song(distance snap does it automatically), if this distances are kinda random it is so confusing.
Example: there is the same time between 6, 7, 8 and 9 (half a beat on each one), so the distance between all of them should be the same, but in your map distances are 0,40x/0,92x/1,64x (you can check the distance at top right of the screen)

fixing this will make your map a lot better since the rythm and petterns are already good :D, good luck!

Great job on this beatmap. The only problems in my opinion were "overmapping"; placing more notes than are in the song. It sort of disrupts the flow. What you should do for the overmapped sections is remove a note or two so it flows better.

00:12:897 The spinner here is way too fast and unexpected for beginners. You should make it longer or remove it completely.
00:59:675 This hitcircle (5) is too difficult to see. Move it closer to (4) or make the (4) slider longer.

Normal

The approach rate here could be a tad higher, usually 4 or 5 is pretty good for Normal maps. The AR of 2, in this case, causes overlaps and readability problems.

00:34:546 This section of white notes is weirdly mapped and doesn't follow the lead guitar as (probably) intended.
00:57:935 Move this section of red notes more to the right so that they don't bunch up with the next two note sections on the left. The transition from the 6 at 00:59:675 to the 1 at 01:00:062 is difficult to see. The following group of white notes has a similar problem to the previous one (at 00:34:546).
01:10:113 Get rid of these notes (since they come kind of unexpected, quickly switching from following the vocals to the guitar) and make the spinner longer instead.

Hard

I think the approach rate is way too slow (current AR is 4). Your mapping jumps from following the vocals to following one of the background instruments to the the guitar, etc. This isn't bad per se, but it makes it more difficult to "read" the map while playing it for the first time (since you'd expect the hit elements to follow the same instrument all the time, and subconsciously time your clicks after that). Add to that an AR that is too low (i.e. hitcircles appearing too early) and you get lots of too early clicks or even misses because the player expects some of the sliders (like 00:22:175) to start earlier than they actually do.
I'd say increase the AR to 7 or at least 6.

00:39:958 I'd suggest a simple hit circle here instead of a slider. Or remap it to be timed like the slider at 00:42:858.

Insane

I couldn't beat this one myself so I can't really say much about it. The jumps in the beginning were really fun, though! :D

00:13:283 This stream seems to be mis-timed to the synth. It's 7 1/4th notes 1.2.3.4. but the synth playes 6 notes in 1.2.3.x.1.2.3.x
They should also start at 00:13:090.

I can see what the poster before meant with "overmapping", but I think it's just that your transitioning between following different instruments can come very unexpectedly sometimes (thus disruptiing the flow). It's much more of a problem in the slower difficulties than with Insane, and I don't really know how to tell which sections should be changed because of it, but I'm sure a better modder can eventually tell you the details about that :)
All in all, nice beatmap! Hoping to see this get ranked soon next year. Keep at it!

I always thought this song was quieter than the other ones I had in my osu! playlist. I'll consider this change, but I remember that the my original audio file was amplified a bit because it was very quiet.

Not sure if this is personal preference on both sides. ^^;

this map is so annoying with default hitsounds, especially the freaking whistle on the sliders. but otherwise i like it. and i blame peppy for the shitty hitsounds, not you lol

i went overboard on hitsounds :|
but yet it sounds plain without hitsounds too

I think the volume change they are talking about only changes the volume of hitsounds, I'm not sure though because I'm a noob.

  2. 00:02:072 (1) - move this to x:72 y:108 (so it was blanketed with 00:00:526 (1) - ), then delete 00:02:458 (2) - then copy 00:02:072 (1) - then press ctrl+j+h for a perfect symmetry
  3. 00:04:391 (4) - NC here, because the rhythm changed here
  4. 00:04:778 (6) - the curve here is a bit off, curve it like this
  5. 00:05:358 (7) - bad flow, ctrl+G this slider
  6. 00:05:938 (8,9,10) - make this 3 at least a perfect triangle
  7. 00:06:518 (11) - put this on x:184 y:48 , or somewhere else near on that coordinate, for better flow
  8. 00:07:484 (3,4,5,6) - put them on the center
  9. 00:08:257 (1,2,3) - bad flow again :( do it like this
    and this 2 here
  10. 00:10:964 (1,2) - use distance snap here, quite confusing

:) Aah thanks for the mod~ I added most of the changes you recommended, it really helped me notice flow problems I couldn't see.

It took me forever to re-visit because I was so busy so I can't kudosu the post anymore :cry:
